Heavy panting can be heard all throughout the streets of Oresfall. A shadow walks amongst the light, sticking out like a sore thumb because of how small they are. They look like an ant in comparison to everyone around them.
Clutching the dagger tightly to their chest, they move. Hoping to find their way into the Tundra. Though death is sure to be met if they wander too far off into the Tundra. They know death is to be met if they don't go into the Tundra.
It's best to die at the hands of nature.
With their ragged, dark clothes, they hoped to stay one with the shadows. they moved from alley to alley, hoping not to attract too much attention. However.. A voice rings out from one of the Alleys..
"P-Prince..."
Followed by the sound of squelching... And the sound of a blade being pulled out of one's body.
Instantly, they covered their mouth, hiding behind one of the walls hoping for the murderer to pass by.
"You saw that, right?"
"Mhm."
They immediately ran out their hiding spot, trying to get as far away as possible from the murderers yet they were coming closer.
Almost as if it was hunter and prey, the hunters were getting closer and closer. Eventually, getting a hold on the prey.
"P-Please! No! Why are you doing this to us!"
"Throw her to the pit."
And without hesitation, one of them struck her with the pommel of their sword, knocking her out instantly.
~~~~~~~~~
She awoke within what could be described as... Hell. Piles of bodies on the side, locked in by two different gates. She couldn't help but vomit at the sight of the mush that could be called "a brain".
"Hey, from above!"
A voice said as they chuckled. She looked up and saw a Shrieker dropping down. It falls to the ground, sustaining... No injuries and it immediately started running after her. She drew her dagger, hoping to fight back.
However, with a single touch from the shrieker, she fell down immediately. Her chest and arm withering from the touch. Tears started running down her face as unbearable pain started to set in. She could hear laughs from all around and the sound of her arm being torn apart by the shrieker.
She closed her eyes, wishing that it'd all just end. She wished that the shrieker had started with her head first so she would've just died immediately and wouldn't have had to suffer all of this pain.
"Oh you poor, poor soul... Do you want to live? Of course you do."
A voice rung out from beside her, though she saw nothing but the Shrieker who had almost completely eaten her entire arm off. The bones slowly being revealed as more skin is torn off.
"Well, for now you're a mere rabbit but eventually... Hm, you'll become an owl?... That doesn't make sense. But it doesn't matter."
In an instant, the Shrieker was pulled up into the air and was cut down by... Nothing?
"Alright, here you go."
And she could feel her arm being... Brought... Back? She turned to look at it but what she was... Metal. She was given a metal arm.
"Now grapple, Fly! And meet me in the Sunken Passage!"
And as the voice started to fade away, she still couldn't stand. She was still on the floor, sobbing. She heard the sound of a gate opening accompanied by footsteps. She knew she needed to get up and run.
"Y'know, she could be use-"
"Shut it, just kill her."
"If you say so."
She opened her eyes and saw a man on top of her, the tip of his blade pointing in the middle of her chest.
"Oh right, Resurrect, my -------."
The man was then sent flying back, followed by a red mist appearing right where the girl was. She used her metal arm to grapple onto the ceiling, allowing for an escape. It would probably be best to head to the Sunken Passage... But where... could such a thing be?
"This is your task, find the Sunken Passage and I'll personally train you! Sounds simple, right? Now don't die!"
And so, she ran in whatever direction she could. Maybe someone could teach her the path to the Sunken passage?
Creators note: Hi! This is a special chapter(somewhat) cause it's not focused on Dias. Anyways, rabbit? Into an owl? my writing sure is great. I really didn't know what to compare her to other than a rabbit so sorry yeah. Also... I think that's Alice?
