I woke up to the sound of my alarm, the luxurious bedding cradling my body. My gaze drifted to the ceiling.

Aghh!Another boring day at University of Toronto

After a quick workout, I showered and dressed up in my black shirt and jeans. My phone buzzed with notifications- texts from admirers, reminders of lectures, and updates on my social media.

I wasn't interested in social media, but my so called bestfriend Vedant took a very keen interest in my personal life and would often chat with my admirers. Although I never cared.

As I descended the stairs, ignoring that fucker's thought

Maa greeted me with a warm smile with Chachi ji "Good morning, beta. Breakfast is ready" They said

The aroma of freshly cooked poha filled the air, and my stomach growled in anticipation.

"Morning, Just coffee for now", I said as I was getting late.

After taking a sip, I headed to college in my Black Lamborghini

It seems like something will happen today, but who cares??!

The sunlight peeking through my curtains woke me up, and I stretched, feeling the softness of my bed

The sunlight peeking through my curtains woke me up, and I stretched, feeling the softness of my bed. My gaze fell on the family photo on my nightstand - Mom, Dad and me.
A smile spread across my face...

After a quick shower, I dressed in a comfortable pair of jeans and a white simple kurti. I loved mornings like this - peaceful, calm, promise and full of adventure

Downstairs, Mumma was already in the kitchen, cooking breakfast. The aroma of my favourite pancakes 🥞 filled the air.

"Morning bachcha!", she said, giving me a warm hug
"Morning, my gorgeous mumma", I said as she continued "What's the plan for today?"
"Just the usual - lectures and maybe some time with friends",I replied.

I grinned feeling a sense of normalcy wash over me
Little did I know, my worst nightmare was waiting for me in college

I grabbed my backpack and headed out the door after finishing my breakfast, feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness, don't know why-
Today was my second day at Toronto University.

Mumma smiled and handed me a cup of coffee. "Have a great day, bachcha. You're going to do amazing."

I took a sip. "Thanks, mumma. Love you..see yaa!!"

As I reached college, the crisp morning air filled my lungs. I loved this time of day, before the hustle and bustle took over.

I turned onto the main road, and the imposing structure of college came into view. It inspired architecture loomed above me, casting long shadows across the lawn.

I joined the stream of students flowing through the entrance and made my way to the register desk

I joined the stream of students flowing through the entrance and made my way to the register desk.

"Hi, I'm Vani Singh. I'm here to register for my classes," I said to the staff member.

She smiled and handed me a schedule. "Welcome to Toronto University, Vani. You're all set. Your first class is in Auditorium A."

I took a deep breath, scanning the crowded hallway. Where would I fit?

As I walked towards the auditorium A, I spotted a group of students standing in the corner, chatting and laughing.

One of them caught my eye - a girl with vibrant purple hair and a warm smile.

"Hey, you look lost," she said , approaching me. "Need help finding your way?"

I smile back. "Yeah, I'm Vani. I'm new here."

"I'm Aaradhya," she replied. "And these are my friends, Shravan's friends actually - Vedant, Nihal, and Aarav."

Nihal, waved. "Hi, Vani. Welcome to our college."

Aarav, a tall, lanky guy, grinned. "Yeah, we don't bite...unless you're in Shravan's way."

Vedant, a quiet, brooding type, nodded in greeting.

Aaradhya leaned in. "Don't mind bro. Shravan bhaiya is just..... particular."

My curiosity piqued, I got goosebumps after listening to his name. "Shravan?"

Aaradhya's body language changed like I made a mistake taking that name. "You'll find out soon enough baby."

After that I went outside to take my Id card.

As I reached out to grab my ID card, Aaradhya called out, "Hey, Vani, be careful crossing the road!"

I smiled, waving my ID card in the air. "got it, thanks!"

Stepping off the curb, I checked both ways before crossing. Suddenly.....
