As I watched him vanish into the night, a shiver coursed through my veins.

His departure should have brought relief, but instead, it left me with an unsettling sense of unease. The way he'd called me "princess" still lingered in my mind, ughhhh!!

His mocking tone echoing with each passing moment. There was something in his blue eyes, something that made my heart skip a beat, something that I couldn't quite put my finger on.

Those mesmerizing shades of blue that are almost indigo, like the darkest corners of the sea. There's something about his eyes that's both beautiful and terrifying... They're like a stormy sea - unpredictable, mysterious, and alluring. I feel like I'm walking on shaky ground when he looks at me like that.

What lies beneath that blue piercing gaze?

I tried to shake off the feeling, telling myself I was being ridiculous. Shravan was just playing games. But the memory of his smirk, the glint in his eye, refused to fade.

Why did I react like that?

Why did I care?

I hated that I couldn't control my emotions around him.

I hate himmm

I need to remember that he's a manipulative and arrogant rich guy who initially yelled at me and took my bracelet with him.

Lost in thought, I stood frozen, oblivious to the silence surrounding me.

Until I felt it.

A presence.

Behind me.

My heart racing, I spun around, but there was no one. The hallway was empty, the shadows cast by the flickering lights twisting into ominous shapes.

I couldn't shake the feeling of being watched. Every nerve in my body screamed warning, urging me to get out of there.

I quickly descended the stairs, seeking solace in the bright lights and elegant decor of the grand foyer.

As I merged with the crowd, I scanned the room, searching for familiar faces. The partygoers laughed and chatted, oblivious to my unease.

But I knew I wasn't imagining things. Someone had been watching me.

I spotted a server carrying a tray of drinks and requested a glass of water, hoping to calm my racing thoughts.

Shravan's mocking tone still echoed in my mind. "Princess." The way he said it. The look in his eyes.

I shook my head, with frustration mounting.

Focus, Vani.

Don't let Shravan get under your skin. But my thoughts drifted back to the mysterious presence.
