Chapter One: A Super Model

Tahani is seventeen years old, having graduated from high school with a score of "93%."

She stood in front of the mirror, admiring her figure and the beauty of her features.

Tahani - (to herself): "If I become a model, I will have a great future, because in a short time, I will become famous and do advertisements for international companies and earn millions. Yes, this is the field where I can prove my existence and achieve my success!"

Tahani felt happy about her smart planning for her future, so she ran to look for her father to ask for his help in achieving her dream. Her father is a kind and loving man, and she was confident he would understand her desire and quickly agree.

She entered the living room and saw her father watching one of the news channels on TV, so she approached him.

Tahani - calmly: "Dad, I want to talk to you about an important topic regarding my future!"

Her father took the remote control, lowered the TV volume, and looked at his daughter with interest.

Her father - encouragingly: "Bravo, my daughter. Your future is the most important thing to think about. Go ahead, I'm listening!"

Tahani - excitedly: "Dad, I've thought about the field in which I can achieve my success, and I want you to help me enter this field!"

Her father heard her words and felt proud that she had grown up and was now responsible for herself.

Her father - happily: "Of course, my daughter, I will help you with everything I can, because I hope to see you as a doctor before I die. I want to be proud of you in front of people. I've always dreamed of seeing one of my children become a doctor, but each one chose the college that suited them. I never lost hope because I felt you would fulfill my dream and make me happy!"

Tahani - annoyed: "No, Dad, I don't want to enter medical school and tire my mind with so much studying. You don't know how hard I worked during school!"

Her father - tenderly: "No, my daughter, you are the only one among your siblings who didn't tire me during your studies, because you were a diligent and smart girl. Okay, tell me, what field have you chosen for your future? Is it engineering, media, or foreign language studies?"

Tahani - proudly: "I want to be a model, what do you think? Modeling is the field that suits me, and I can earn a lot of money in a short time. Please, Dad, support me in achieving my dream. I want you to help me travel to Lebanon to register with a famous modeling agency because through that, I can quickly launch into the fashion world!"

Her father was shocked by her ambition and decision, and he was surprised by her simplistic thinking in planning for her future, but at the same time, he was afraid to break her heart if he told her the truth, fearing she would think he is a strict father who stands in the way of her dreams. So, a clever and simple idea occurred to him to prevent her from entering a field that is unfamiliar and not accepted in their country due to customs and traditions. With wisdom, he managed to control his nerves.

Her father - calmly: "Okay, I agree, but with one condition..."

Tahani interrupted him, jumping with joy.

Tahani - happily: "I knew you would be happy to help me!"

Her father - quickly: "Wait a moment, 'Tota', you haven’t heard what my condition is yet!"

Tahani - casually: "It doesn't matter, I agree to all your conditions!"

Her father: "Don’t rush, first listen and then decide. It’s just one condition?"

Tahani - confidently: "Okay, what is it?"

Her father - cunningly: "You walk in front of me as if you are on a fashion show, but in your underwear only!"
