Lets Not Be Alone Tonight - [Riker Lynch/R5 Love Story]

Chapter 9

"Hey, I really like you, but lets keep this on the down low just to keep you out of the spot light" He said

I smiled "Sure, sounds like a plan"

Riker kissed me once more then we both headed back to the table to join everyone.

"Hey lovebirds" Rocky laughed as we walked back to the the table

"Hey, Rocky, quiet. We are going to try to keep this underwraps as we can to avoid Elyse being in the spotlight" Riker announced to the table

"Fine, fine.... But I have to say you two are cute together" Rydell said and Ross shook his head in agreement. 

We ordered our breakfast and talked, laughed and such until it came, we ate and I fought about my portion of the bill. Of course they didn't take my money. I whined "oh come on, I work hard for my money, let me spend it" I said half laughing 

"We know you work hard, but don't worry about it" Riker said as he pushed my had with my money back down onto the table. 

"Fine" I said 

They payed the bill and we left and were walking down the street back to the parking lot, the water looked gorgeous. I was staring at it, "well we must come back and actually go to the beach" Riker whispered in my ear. 

I smiled and nodded 

we all got to the cars Ross turned around and said "Okay, well I will go with Elyse and Rydell, Riker you should go with Rocky, just to keep the craziness, just incase anyone sees us on the way home" 

"Do I have to?" Riker whined

"Its fine, I think you'll survive" I said and nudged him in the arm as I walked past him and opened my passenger door and motioned for Ross to get in "Hey now, I'm not sitting in the back, I'm trying to save you so I'll sit in the front, Rydell is sitting in the back" He said

"I'm not sitting in that small backseat, no offence Elyse, But I'll just go with Rocky" She said and got into Rockys car

So Ross and I drove back to the apartment together, we were waiting at a red light when a flash went off beside us. 

"oh no!" Ross said as he pointed out the passenger window, it was a paparazzi who just took a photo of Ross and I in the car together. alone. 

I was freaking out but I decided to play it cool "Ross, it will be fine, nobody will think twice about it, your brothers are behind us" 

"okay fine" he grabbed my hand and squeezed, I smiled and he let go and we kept driving

We got back to the apartment and I got out and said "Well thank you for the fun night and morning everyone, I need to go grade some projects for my class, feel free to stop by the apartment anytime" I said 

I hugged all of them and we all went to the elevator I got off at floor five and they continued to the 20th floor 

I got into my apartment and sat down on the couch when my landline rang, 

"Hello?" I said

"Hey its Luke, care to ring me up?" He said 

"Oh sure, you are here?" I said 

"Yup, I was on a jog through the neighbourhood and I think I hurt my leg, so you were the closest" He said

"oh my gosh, come on up luke" I pressed the button on the phone that unlocked the main entrance

I unlocked my door and 5 minutes later Luke was limping in the door

"Sit down bud" I said and he sat down on my couch i grabbed him an icepack he put it on his ankle.

We sat on the couch and I graded projects for about half an hour when I smelt a horrible smell... "Oh dude, Luke you stink go take a shower" I said pointing towards my bathroom. "just go"

He limped into my bedroom to get to my bathroom. He left my bedroom door open, I couldn't see into  my bathroom but it was weird I could hear the shower. 

I continued to grade papers and I heard the shower turn off and I heard a THUD from the bathroom.

"oh god, LUKE... what did you do?" I yelled 

I walked into the bathroom and Luke had fallen out of the tub reaching for the towel. I had to help him up however, he was way taller than I was, naked and slippery cause he was still wet. 

I helped him up but he grabbed my dress to try and pull himself  up and it broke the spaghetti strap and never mind that it got my dress really wet. I finally got him standing up and he finally wrapped the towel around his waist. He said "thanks girl" and he ruffled my hair like a little kid which got it wet 

I heard a knock at the door. "Hey its Riker" 

"Hey come on in!!" I yelled from the bathroom. 

"Uhh hey" he said to me

"Hey!" Luke said poking his half naked body from my bedroom door "Well thanks for that fun shower E, call me when you want to do that again" He disappeared back into my room

"Well bye" Riker said as he turned around and walked out my door and slammed it. 

"YOU ASS!" I yelled at Luke and ran out the door after Riker...

Damn Luke always have to go and ruin things...
