Chapter 24: Band practice

Riley's Pov
"We have band practice today" Matt says to me as I make breakfast.
"Ok" I say concentrating.
"And you're coming with us" he says grabbing some food.
"Mmmm, should I do anything?" I ask smacking his hand.
"Uh duh your our support along with Aeryn" he says.
"Oh, so what are we supposed to wear cheerleading outfits" I ask sarcastically.
"If.you want" he grins mischievously.
"Mmm how about not" I say poking his nose.
"Oh why not, gives us some entertainment" he says rubbing his nose.
"Ugh, get your head out of the fucking gutters" I say smacking him playfully.
"I'm a pervert" he says.
My eyes widen as I step back.
"Kidding" he says laughing.
"Such an asshole" I say sitting down.
"You do like my asshole" he says eating.
"Seriously!? I'm trying to fucking eat sicko. Be that way on your own time" I say.
"You'd enjoy it too much" he says laughing.
I laugh a little. "Say whatever you want" I say.

Matt's Pov
We're on our way to practice. "I'm glad that we're finally working on new music" I say driving.
"Same, because it gets you out of the house" she says smiling innocently.
"You're coming on tour with us. Besides we need you girls to keep us in line" I say walking inside the building.
"Oh so now were babysitters" she says following.
"Yes" I say chuckling.
We get all set up and I start singing Second heartbeat

"We keep writing talking and planning, but everything is changing.
We all know what to do but no one done it.
Now this time has passed and full of regret.
Two in my heart have left me a while, I stand alone.
When they get back, it won't be the same.

My life, you've always been there.
Now you're gone and my heads spinning.
Left the childhood, left the memories,
left the good times in the past.
Moving on...your time has run out."

"That's all we have so far" I say.
"Well you'll get more done soon" she says.
"Thanks" I say grabbing our notebook.
