Jimmy's Pov
Alex was quiet the whole ride home and I checked on him a few times and he continued to stare out the window.
"I have some things to go do." Jade says getting out after I parked the car.
"Ok baby." I say getting out as she walks inside and I get Alex out and walk around out back.
He watches me and tries to figure out what I'm doing.
"Let's talk, just me and you." I say sitting down on the swing with him.
"Otay." He says as I hold him on my lap swinging lightly.
"I know you're upset Alex." I say as he stays quiet.
"Me don't want bruver or sissy." He says not looking at me.
"Alex we are having a baby, but I promise to always love you and so will mommy." I say looking at him.
"But me da baby and me have Jacob and Hailey." He says still not looking at me.
"You'll always be my baby." I say playing with his hair.
"But me don't want baby betause yew pay no more attention to me." He says looking down.
"That is absolutely not true, I'll always pay attention to you but your brother or sister will need a little more. Also you have your cousins, auntie's and uncle's besides pappy and nana." I say to him hoping he'll understand.
He looks at me with teary eyes and I gently wipe them away.
"Its ok my monkey I promise you." I say rocking him gently.
"Me just want mommy, daddy and me." He says.
"You'll have us both because we love you so very much." I say rubbing his back.
"Me wuv daddy." He says yawning.
"And no one can ever replace you." I say and I start sing quietly to him.
He falls asleep and I swing lightly holding onto him.
"Is everything ok babe?" Jade asks walking out and stands beside me.
"I think so, well I'm hoping it is." I say to her.
"Do you think we're making the right choice?" She asks sitting down on the grass.
"I think we are. Its normal for some siblings to be this way and he's almost 2 now so he's going to probably going to be going through the terrible twos." I say looking at him and he's still asleep.
"Too bad you didn't have a special bond with Riley." She says as I move down the ground beside her holding her and him.
"Me too, I'm just trying to get close with her. I never knew how hard it is." I say looking at the clouds.
"I was somewhat close to my brother, but that's not the point." She says.
"I know." I say getting up helping her up and we walk inside shutting the door and walk upstairs to Alex's room and lay him down for the night.
"Night Alex." I say kissing his forehead.
"Night my baby boy." Jade says giving him a kiss and we walk to our room to change and lay down.
"I think we need to get a big boy bed tomorrow." I say holding her covering us up.
"We do, he's getting too big for his crib." She says closing eyes.
"Maybe I'll ask Matt to help." I say thinking.
"Mhm that's nice babe." Jade mumbles.
I smile and decide to go to sleep myself.
