After Charm's class, a few students besides Colette herself, were called to Professor Flitwicks desk.
'You must wonder why I want to speak to you.' he said to his group of students.
'I have noticed that all of you posses a talent for charms. Your wand movements are quick and steady, I came to think that you would make fine duelists. There is no official dueling club in Hogwarts, but a group of students a few hundred years ago founded the crossed wands. They meet in the Bell Tower courtyard, I would advise you to duel with them. Perhaps you'd even like to join them. Whatever you decide, I think it's important to help students reach their full potential, that I think would do so.'
He nods before letting them go.
They leave the classroom, and Colette is lost in thoughts, when suddenly one of the students was standing besides her.
'So, will you go?' asked the blond girl.
From her uniform Colette could tell that she was a Ravenclaw.
'Oh, I'm not sure. But I must admit that it's very tempting.' she answered.
'We should go together then! I'm Pandora, by the way.'
'Colette, or rather Cole.'
'Well Cole, what do you say? Are you in?'
'Do I have a choice?' Cole asks jokingly.
'No, you do not.' Pandora lifts her head proudly and interlinks her arm with Cole's.
Together they walk to where Professor Flitwick has said the Crossed Wands to be.
There, many students were present. Mostly fifth years.
The Prewett twins walked over to them.
'More first years, even a Slytherin. I take it Flitwick told you to come?' one of them asked.
Looking around, there weren't a lot of Slytherins. It makes sense that, since Slytherin is the evil house, there wouldn't be a lot admitted. The rest probably didn't care to duel with blood traitors.
'Follow me.' the other one directs them through the courtyard.
'Here you can sign up for duels and over there you can watch and even place bets. No more than 50 Gallions allowed. Got it?'

A few days later, Colette and Pandora walk the halls after class. They were talking and laughing , just being in their bubble. They quickly became best friends. It turned out that both were as clumsy as the other. A match made by merlin himself, truly.
Suddenly, Colette's gaze shifted to Sirius, James and Peter, Remus's friend group. Remus wasn't amongst them, unusual.
'Hey, there's something I'll need to do.' she say's to Pandora.
Pandora has noticed her sudden change in expression and that she had mentally left their conversation.
'Sure, see you later?'
Colette nods and walks forward toward the group. They were mid conversation as she interrupted.
'Have you seen Remus?' she asks.
The one standing to her with his back, Sirius, turned around and looked rather amused by her presence.
'No, haven't. He just randomly vanished yesterday and hasn't returned since.' he answered with a smirk so daring she'd like to wipe off his face.
'He hasn't been to class?' she asked, her worry visible.
'Why do you want to know?' he crossed his arms and looks her up and down, almost analyzing her. His eyes stopped at her Slytherin tie, a second time at her eyes.
'Ahh you must be Remus's sister, the little Lupin.' he says as he realized.
'It's Colette.'
'I think I'll stick with little Lupin.'
She fakes a smile as she turned and rolls her eyes as she walks away.
'Jerk.' she mutters under her breath, but loud enough for him to hear.

So, Remus hasn't been seen since yesterday. She feels like the worry for her brother is gonna eat her alive, since she has now checked the whomping willow and the nearby forest and hasn't found him. Yesterday has been a full moon night. It was usual for him to disappear for the night, but not to stay gone in the morning.
She was ripped away from her thoughts as Madam Pomfrey walked towards her in the halls.
'Ms. Lupin, would you accompany me to the hospital wing?' Promfrey asked, less a question than a command. Without answering her, Colette followed her.
She was shocked as she saw her brother, sitting on one of the beds as a patient.
He had told her in the past, that sometimes he required mending after a transition, so he was likly found at Pomfrey's. Still her heart dropped knowing what it meant for him to have ended up in the hospital wing.
'Cole?' he asked as he spotted her.
She quickly walked over to his bed. Before she could sit down next to him, he hugged her. A hug she answered needy, but she was still careful, knowing that all of his new scars and bruises would make the hug hurt. And it did. Remus felt his body in pain at the contact, but he pushed it away and focused on the hug that spends him enough comfort to forget the pain, if only for a second.
'Why haven't you told me where you were?' she asked him.
'I didn't want you to worry - and yeah, there it is.' he answered seeing how worried she already was.
'I searched the whole entire castle for you, how do you expect me not to be worried?'
'Ms. Lupin, a word please.' Madam Pomfrey pulled her aside, to where Remus couldn't hear them.
'I must admit, I'm worried for this boy. The transformation is often too strong for his yet so young and fragile body. I'm glad he has someone in this castle who's there for him in these times.'
Madam Pomfrey pauses for a second, feeling heavy for what she is to ask of the young girl.
'He is spending a lot of time at the hospital wing, which draws unwanted attention. What I am to ask of you, will help that, and him, but it will cost you. You'll have to take a lot of responsibility, which wasn't meant for you to be carried.'
'What is it?'
'I can teach you how to mend his scars, bruises and wounds, specifically werewolf wounds.'
'I'll do it.'
'Are you sure? You'll have mend him after every moon. It will take a lot time off your schedule and people will ask questions. Not to mention that mending is not for the weak. There will be a lot of blood and he will squeak out in pain from time to time.'
'Will it help him?'
Pomfrey nods.
'Then I'll do it.'

She was determined and learned the skill quickly.

After she was finished, she headed out and walked the halls. It was early afternoon so a lot of students were present. She walked past the schoolyard, and admittedly, was a bit tired. That was until she saw a black haired Slytherin boy arguing with James and Sirius. It was no one she had ever seen before, and what looked like an argument soon started to look like a fight. Except that the Slytherin boy wasn't fighting back, he looked like he wanted to be left alone. Colette is intrigued and slowly walking towards them. A girl with red hair appeared from the opposite direction, she surely took James's attention.
'Leave him alone.' the red haired girl said defensive as she placed herself between them.
'Calm down Evans, we're only having a little bit of fun. Snivellus sure agrees.' Sirius said.
'You're an Asshole!' she yelled in response.
Colette walked faster, and pulled out her wand as she stood in front of Sirius.
'Just leave them alone, will you?' Colette said with her wand pointed at him.
'Are you threatening me?' Sirius say's looking at her wand.
'Don't make me do this.' she warns as he takes steps towards her.
'Oh, what are you gonna do little Lupin? Are you gonna cast Leviosa on me? If you can even cast it on a feather-'
'Flipendo.' Colette casted.
Sirius didn't just levitate as he expected, but flew across the entire schoolyard.
Remus came rushed out just the second that Sirius hit the floor. Colette's proud expression faded as she saw Professor McGonagall behind him.
'Ms Lupin! 50 points from Slytherin and detention this evening!' McGonagall yelled at her before making sure Sirius was alright. He was and McGonagall led him back, to where everyone els was standing.
'What happened?' Remus asked.
'That's what I'd love to know as well.' McGonagall said in a strict voice.
'Why don't you ask her?!' Sirius almost lunges at Colette, but was held back by Remus.
'Stop it! That's my sister!' he warned Sirius as he pushed him away.
'Oh yeah, thanks for the introduction! Where have you even been all day?' Sirius said sarcastically.
'I was at the hospital wing, I didn't feel too well.' Remus said.
'An explanation now. Evans? Potter?' McGonagall demands.
'Sirius thought I'd be fun to annoy Severus and wouldn't leave when we asked him too.' The red-haired girl explained.
'Well then, 50 points from Gryffindor and detention for you too, Mr. Black.'
A verdict neither Sirius nor Colette liked.

-

Later this afternoon, Remus walked the Gryffindor common room, straight to his dormitory, in which James and Peter were already waiting as he entered.
'Where's Sirius? Still at detention with Cole?' Remus asked as he closed the door behind him.
'Yeah and how come you never mentioned you had a sister last year?' James asked leaning in his chair.
It was a rightfully asked question on his part, but Remus couldn't really tell him why. He hadn't had a sister last year.
'I must've forgotten. Last year was a lot, you know. And I guess I figured you'd meet her this year anyway.'
'Remus, we're worried about you. You've been acting strange lately. If there's something going on, you can tell us.'
James was assuring. It wasn't that Remus didn't want to tell them, but he knows how wizarding kind thinks of werwolves. They'd hate him and he would inevitably loose then. And he couldn't risk loosing them.
Suddenly, the dorm room was entered by a visibly angry Sirius, who slammed the door behind him.
'Your sister is a pain in the ass.' Sirius scoffs as he lets himself drop into his bed.
'There's one thing you have in common.' Remus replied jokingly.
'I take it detention has been great?' James asked.
'His annoying little sister and I have been the only ones who got detention today. Professor McGonagall gave us an assignment to solve together.'
The boys started laughing at the picture. It was clear to them that this must've been Sirius's personal hell.
'Oh shut up.' growled a very annoyed Sirius in his pillow.
