I come home from a tiering day at school, i heard that my sister got a detention for not handing in her science homework. She wasn't happy. She said that he needs to calm down and get a life! Which is true in some ways. My phone buzzed, it was from mum it was a text explaining that she'll be home at 4.
My sister shrugged and went off to do homework. I reached for a biscuit and made a mug of tea, i was just about to sit down when my sister came in and asked:
"Can i borrow your laptop?"
"Why? What's wrong with yours? And where was the please?" I replied
"Ugh, My laptops needs charging PLEASE can i borrow your laptop for homework jeez!"
I don't think she liked it when i said no, because she snatched the biscuit out of my hand and stuck her tounge out at me. And that was that.
Finally my mum came home, i was so pleased to see her because my sister was in one of her anti social moods, she was up in her room escaping the real world and going into her own. Soon the evening passed and the sun was settling, giving a ray of bright, warm orange glow seeping through our windows. I thought of my dad, he doesn't come home until 9:30pm, his work is soo hectic and tiering. He works for some big architecture company so we only see him propaly at weekends.
My sister barges into my room, disturbing my deep thoughts
"Daydreaming are we?"
"Go away." I say bleakly, i couldn't be bothered to have an arguement with her; my eyes were soo tired and i was beginning to get a headache. I switched the light off and clambered into bed cacooning myself in my duvet. My sister stormed out the room and shut the door. Night fell my eyes slowly closed. It felt like i was falling fast into a deep sleep...
I heard my sister's cries but it was muffled from the water that surrounded her. My mum was screaming "Someone help!" My heart raced, i could feel my heartbeat ring loud in my ears. I don't know what made me do it, but i jumped in and hauled my sister on the pool side, i yelled her name and shook her fiersly. No answer. I started to cry and yell out
"No! No! No!" My dad dragged me away, comforting me, i just stared at my sister. She still wasn't moving...
I woke up. Panicked. I looked around my room, everything was normal. It was just a dream. I let out a long sigh of relief, my alarm clock bore the time 7:20am. I stared at my blind. Sunlight was creeping around the edges, desperate to pour in. My legs were crying in sweat and my head whirled like a merry-go-round.
As time crawled slowly and the morning soon passed. I hoped never to have that dream again.
