In a few hours, The Wonderland will arrive at Gimpo Island. Yunho sits at his workstation and stares into a gift box. A pair of gauntlets rests inside. Starting as a pair of leather fingerless gloves, all it takes is the press of a small trigger to transform them into weapons. Extremely high-tech, it took a while to perfect. Wooyoung helped with the initial plan.

Since his boyfriend prefers to fight with his hands, the swordsman made weapons that double as armor to accommodate him. While looking like regular accessories, the gloves become gauntlets that not only pack a spiky punch but also protect the wearer's hands. This way, Mingi can fight more efficiently.

He closes the box and hurries out of the workshop. On his way to their bedroom, he unexpectedly bumps into the younger exiting the lounge. Mingi's eyes light up. "Yuyu!"

"Mingi, I was actually looking for you." Yunho hides the gift box behind his back. Urging the prince over to the hallway corner, he meets his curious eyes.

"Why? What's behind your back?"

Yunho purses his lips and slowly presents the box. "Before we go into battle... Here."

Mingi opens the box, and his jaw drops excitedly. At first, he thinks they're just gloves like anyone else would. Yunho holds the box for him while he tries them on. "I love them, but why?"

"Press these little buttons here really hard with your thumbs twice, then make a fist," the swordsman instructs.

His boyfriend does just that, curling his fingers into his palms. A series of clicks startles him. Before he can comprehend it, the gloves expand over his hands with hard-hitting metal plates. Tiny spikes protrude from the knuckles. No wonder they felt heavy coming out of the box.

Mingi gasps, "What the hell? This is so cool!"

Satisfied by his reaction, Yunho clarifies, "These are gauntlets, but they take the form of gloves until you activate them. They were painstaking to build, but you need something like this since you want to punch people rather than use a sword."

"What if I accidentally activate them?"

"Just click the buttons the same way and relax your hands. Although, it should be accident-proof. If not, I can adjust them for you later," Yunho says.

Bouncing on his feet, Mingi practices a few swings to get used to the added weight. Then, he reverts them to gloves and beams. His toothy grin sends proud shockwaves through his partner, and the latter knows he made the right call with this gift.

Once it's safe to do so, Mingi wraps his arms around Yunho's neck. "Thank you. I'll put them to good use."

"I'd rather you never have to use them," Yunho whispers woefully. He buries his face into the prince's neck, breathing him in and placing a small kiss on the sensitive skin.

Mingi shuts his eyes and exhales. He wishes the same thing. Just the fact they're in a situation where something like gauntlets is necessary... It's depressing.

All they can do is fight—fight until weapons are no longer required to live their lives in safety. The moment the ship docks, that's exactly what they're going to do.

They arrive just in time—seriously. As soon as Jongho walks down the plank, he catches sight of soldiers attempting to set The Circus ship ablaze. He whistles sharply to get their attention before blasting the one holding the fuse. His comrades have little time to react; they're down for the count soon after.

Yeosang and Hongjoong join his side, and the captain asks, "What'd you do with Ahn Dayeol? I don't want him trying anything funny while we're distracted."
