Right after news of Yunho and Yeosang's secret departure with the Midnight Fleet, a furious Hongjoong prepares to set sail. Chan follows him to the stern urgently.

"You're leaving? What about the other captains? You said you'd give them a day to decide on the alliance," the brunette stresses.

On the deck, the crew rushes to tug up the anchor and release the sails. Hongjoong meets his friend's gaze and says, "You stay here and let me know what they say. I've got some dumb kids to chase down."

Exhaling in understanding, The Circus captain nods. "All right. Be safe."

He pats Hongjoong's shoulder and soon disembarks. Once he's secure on the dock, The Wonderland pirates retrieve the plank. Seonghwa steps out on the deck curiously. Under his feet, he can just barely feel the rock of the ship as she drifts away from the island.

The first mate glances up at his captain. He looks handsome when he's serious, a contrast to how pretty he looks when he's clingy or silly. However, right now, Seonghwa's heart aches too much to think about that kind of stuff.

Looking away just as San comes by, Seonghwa nearly bumps into him. "Oh, sorry Seonghwa. Hey, is your arm okay?" the blond checks, eyeing the bandage.

"It doesn't hurt as much anymore. What's going on?"

"You haven't heard yet?" San questions, and he gets a head shake in response. "Those jerks Yunho and Yeosang snuck off to save Mingi. They got on the Lioness's main ship without telling anyone."

Seonghwa gasps, "They did what?!"

The younger hums agreeably, sharing the shocked sentiment. "Yunho, I get. But Yeosang always seemed too timid to pull something like this. Anyway, we're going after them."

"Not just that, but Yeosang is injured! They better be okay," the medic frets. He does not doubt that they're safe with Soyeon on the ship, but what about once they reach Seoul Island?

Once The Wonderland is a good distance away from Moomyung Island's shore, the sides of the ship open up to display newly added red wings installed by the inventors. Expertly made, the wings boost the ship and help her glide over the water at higher speeds.

Hidden beneath the waves, Kwi-eomi sticks to the sea vessel effortlessly. She's glad to finally leave this noisy land mass. She wonders how and why humans make all of those loud booms and crashing sounds.

Hongjoong steers them on course for the quickest route out of the Bloody Sea toward the capital. Royally pissed, a school of thoughtful fish swim through his brain. Yunho didn't consult with him first, he just left in the dead of night. They're meant to be best friends. Brothers. Yes, he's mad at Hongjoong, but to go behind his back?

The captain wants to save Mingi too, but the prince's boyfriend is too damn impatient. Yeosang is a different story. The recordkeeper never acts up. This is entirely new, and Hongjoong isn't sure just how mad he is toward him yet.

On top of the infuriating pirate captains at the meeting and his strained relationship with Seonghwa, Kim Hongjoong has a lot of pent-up wrath he needs to release.

"So, what's the plan?"

Standing on the deck of Jeon Soyeon's ship, Yunho stares out at the ocean and crosses his arms. "I don't have one yet."

Yeosang pouts, "When will you have one?"

"Hongjoong's the planner, not me." Yunho meets the ravenette's skeptical look and sighs. "I don't know. I'll come up with something before we get there. Since it's just the two of us, we'll have to move fast."
