Louisa burst into her room, flustered and breathless. She leaned against the door, her mind racing with thoughts of Jungkook. She couldn't shake off the feeling that had been growing inside her.
"Oh, dear God," she whispered, covering her face. "What am I doing?"
As a member of the Catholic upper group, Louisa knew the consequences of her feelings. Her family, her friends, everyone would condemn her for harboring feelings for someone from the Anthics, a lower group.
But Louisa couldn't help it. She didn't care about the danger, the societal norms, or the expectations. All she knew was that she had feelings for Jungkook, and they were genuine.
"It's not a sin to love someone," she told herself, determination etched on her face.
Louisa paced around her room, her thoughts in turmoil. She recalled the stories of forbidden love between Catholics and Anthics, the brutal consequences, and the heartbreak.
But she couldn't deny her emotions. Jungkook's smile, his kindness, and his gaze had captivated her.
"I won't let society dictate my feelings," Louisa declared, her voice firm.
As she stood before her window, staring out at the world outside, Louisa made a silent vow:
"I'll follow my heart, no matter the cost."
With newfound resolve, Louisa took a deep breath and let her feelings sink in. She was falling for Jungkook, and she wouldn't apologize for it.
_
_Days turned into weeks, and Jungkook and Louisa's friendship deepened. For Jungkook, Louisa was a kind and gracious madam, always concerned about his well-being. He cherished their friendly conversations and appreciated her guidance.
However, for Louisa, each passing day intensified her emotions. She found excuses to be near Jungkook, requesting his assistance with trivial tasks or inventing reasons to keep him close.
"Louisa's garden needs pruning, Jungkook," she'd say, or "I need help rearranging my bookshelves."
Jungkook obligingly attended to her requests, never suspecting Louisa's true motives.
Louisa felt guilty, knowing she was taking advantage of Jungkook's kindness. She longed to simply sit and talk with him, but fear of discovery kept her from revealing her true feelings.
As they worked together, Louisa stole glances at Jungkook, her heart skipping beats. She admired the way he smiled, the way his eyes sparkled when he laughed.
One day, while Jungkook polished the furniture in her room, Louisa found herself lingering nearby, pretending to read.
"Jungkook, would you like some refreshments?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
Jungkook looked up, his face inches from hers. "Thank you, Senhora. You're too kind."
Louisa's pulse quickened as their eyes met. She hastily retreated, her cheeks flushing.
"What am I doing?" she chided herself. "I must control my emotions."
But as she gazed out the window, Louisa knew she couldn't deny her feelings forever.
Louisa sat by the window, mesmerized by the sun's gentle descent towards the horizon. The warm orange hues cast a tranquil glow across her room, soothing her restless thoughts.
As she gazed out, memories flooded her mind. She recalled the countless times Jungkook had caught her staring, his eyes sparkling with amusement.
Each time, Louisa had quickly looked away, feigning interest in her book or art. But Jungkook's presence had become a magnet, drawing her attention inexorably.
