It's been 3 days since Rosie was murdered and Ashley was given time off work to contact Rosie's family etc. She phoned Rosie's mum but couldnt speak. "what happened to her?" she was eventually asked. Ashley realised she couldn't answer her because truthfully she didnt know; all she could muster up was a 'she was attacked whilst out with a friend'. After about 20 minutes of hearing a mother mourning her lost daughter Ashley hung up and decided she owed it to Rosie to find out what really happened. She had to know if the men she trusted with her life and viewed as brothers were the reason she was now sat in a cold and empty flat alone. There was a thud as the post came through the letterbox, it snapped Ashley out of her thoughts, she picked up the letters and began flicking through the pile until she saw one from her landlord. She opened it and read through the words and tears formed in her eyes then she stuffed the letter in her bag and ran to work.
