Days passed and Ashley spoke to George and Mitchell constantly. The three had become quite close with George often bringing her a coffee to her office just for the chance to moan about hospital life.

One day she was stood talking with them about the joys of 'The Real Hustle' when a woman was wheeled past them in a wheelchair. The woman had been in a car crash and had blood pouring from a wound on her head, but other than that was okay.

Ashley turned to look at the boys and was met with a sight she did not recognise; Mitchell's eyes were no longer the warm brown colour she was used to but instead were jet black, she shook her head and looked back to see his brown eyes once again. He then turned his head and looked at her, smiling. She walked away to give the woman her stitches, trying to convince herself she was just seeing things but once again that feeling returned as it had with that man many days ago, something wasn't right.
