Jisung and Minho had been friends for as long as anyone could remember. From the moment they met at their dance club in high school, it was like they were made to understand each other. They shared an effortless bond, built on late-night practices, shared meals, and endless teasing. Where Minho was quiet and thoughtful, Jisung was loud and energetic. They balanced each other perfectly.

Now in their second year of college, they were closer than ever. Their friendship was solid, unshakeable. Or at least, that's what Jisung had always thought.

But lately, things had been... different.

Jisung couldn't pinpoint exactly when it started. Maybe it was a few months ago, during one of their dance practices, when he caught himself staring at Minho a little too long. Or maybe it was when Minho stayed up late to help him finish a song he was working on, their heads close together as they shared headphones, bodies inches apart. The proximity felt different somehow, charged.

It was confusing. Jisung had always admired Minho, sure-who wouldn't? He was talented, sharp, and surprisingly caring beneath his teasing. But now, every time they were together, Jisung's heart raced in a way it hadn't before. He found himself looking at Minho's hands as they danced, watching the way his muscles moved, or wondering what it would feel like to hold him, really hold him, and not just in a playful hug between friends.

It wasn't long before the thought that had been nagging at him finally clicked into place: He was falling for Minho.

---

The realization hit Jisung hard. At first, he tried to ignore it. They were just friends, after all, and it wasn't worth risking their friendship over some fleeting feelings. But the more he tried to push it away, the stronger it grew.

He started overanalyzing everything Minho did. The way he leaned in close during practice, how he'd casually throw an arm around Jisung's shoulder or ruffle his hair. Every little touch sent sparks through Jisung's skin, and he couldn't stop thinking about it.

The worst part was that Minho seemed completely oblivious. He was as playful as ever, throwing teasing remarks Jisung's way, challenging him during dance routines, and acting like nothing had changed.

But for Jisung, everything had.

---

One evening, they were alone in the dance studio, running through a new routine. They had been at it for hours, sweat pouring down their faces as they moved in perfect sync to the beat. But despite the exhaustion, Jisung couldn't stop thinking about how close Minho was, how their bodies moved together like they were made for this-made for each other.

At the end of the routine, Minho flopped down onto the floor, panting. "You're killing me, Han Jisung," he said with a grin, wiping the sweat from his brow.

Jisung laughed, though his heart was pounding for a different reason. He sat down next to Minho, his mind racing. Now or never, a voice whispered in his head.

"Minho," Jisung started, his voice sounding far too serious for the moment.

Minho tilted his head, a curious smile on his lips. "What's up?"

Jisung hesitated, the words catching in his throat. But he had to say something-anything. He couldn't keep pretending. "Do you ever think about... I don't know, us? Like, more than just friends?"

There was a moment of silence. Minho's smile faded slightly, replaced with something unreadable.

"What do you mean?" Minho asked slowly, sitting up now, his eyes locked on Jisung.

Jisung swallowed hard. There was no going back now. "I mean... sometimes I think about you, about us, and I wonder if there's more to it. More than just friendship."

Minho's expression didn't change at first, and Jisung's heart sank. Maybe he had made a huge mistake. Maybe Minho didn't feel the same way at all, and now he'd ruined everything.

But then, Minho spoke, his voice quieter than before. "Jisung... you've been on my mind too. A lot."

Jisung's breath caught in his throat. "Really?"

Minho nodded, looking away for a second, almost shyly-something Jisung had never seen before. "I've been thinking about it too. But I didn't want to mess things up between us."

Jisung felt a rush of relief mixed with excitement. "So... you like me too?"

Minho laughed softly, finally meeting Jisung's eyes again. "Yeah, I guess I do."

The tension that had been building between them for weeks suddenly dissolved into a warm, shared understanding. Jisung felt like he could finally breathe again, a smile spreading across his face.

Without thinking, he leaned forward, closing the small gap between them. It wasn't some grand, dramatic kiss like in the movies, but a soft, tentative brush of lips, as if they were both testing the waters.

It was simple, but perfect.

When they pulled back, Jisung couldn't help but laugh. "So... what now?"

Minho smiled, that familiar teasing glint returning to his eyes. "Well, we're both sweaty and disgusting, so maybe we start by taking a break?"

Jisung rolled his eyes, playfully shoving Minho's shoulder. But the truth was, everything felt lighter now. The uncertainty, the tension-it had all melted away, leaving only the comfort of knowing that Minho felt the same way.

---

In the weeks that followed, their relationship shifted seamlessly from friends to something more. They didn't make a big deal out of it; there was no need. It felt natural, like they had always been heading in this direction, even if it had taken them a while to realize it.

They still teased each other relentlessly, still laughed together, and still danced together in the studio late into the night. But now, there were stolen kisses between routines, lingering touches, and the quiet understanding that something had changed for the better.

And as they stood side by side, moving in perfect sync to the music, Jisung realized that he had found exactly where he belonged-right there, with Minho.

The End.
