Background: Yuriko is a talented and skilled chef who has trained all over the world. Her older brother, Kiji Mitsuba, asked the warden to give her a job as a chef with Shiro to increase the amount of food cooked everyday in the prison. Samon Gokuu developed feelings for Yuriko when they first met in the cafeteria. When He asked her out, Yuriko said yes. They have been a couple since, but they chose to keep it a secret from her brother and the other supervisors.
