Asstro's POV

As soon as my girl walked through the basement door I quickly locked her down in the basement.

"There we go now we can talk, privately."

"Aren't you being too cruel now?" Cole asked with amusement.

"I'm a cruel, bloodthirsty, cold hearted, monster." I answered quietly with my frightening evil laugh, unfortunately I choked and coughed violently.

"Sure," my Uncle answered with a roll of his striking green eyes. "I take it that you're serious about that girl?"

"It's none of your business."

"Touchy, you wouldn't happen to know why that farm was burned down now would, you?"

"No, I know nothing of the sort."

"And that cemetery was burned down too, I wonder if any corpses are missing, it's just puzzling isn't it."

He can't know about the Of Light family.

"Whatever, just tell me what did you do this time?" With a sigh I asked my infuriating uncle, "or should I rather ask what do you want from me?"

"Oh, you're straight to the point just like your mother. I hear your mother told your dear uncle directly that she wants a baby from him, and you don't want to know what I did, just know I got some good pussy, but listen I really need new identification documents and a place to stay."

"Fine, you can sleep on the couch."

"Just that, but why the couch, don't you have a spare bedroom I could use?"

I stayed silent while my uncle kept on rambling and rudely he shifted to rest his legs onto the kitchen counter.

"You know I still wonder why you turned out so nice when my little sister didn't choose me to seed her but instead chose that lousy brother of ours who could've been our father for crying out loud."

"That is one mistake that my Mother didn't make now for fucks sake just shut up and take your smelly feet off the counter."

This isn't how I wanted to spend your birthday, Mother.

"No, no, now tell me why are you keeping that girl when she's clearly dead weight?"

"Well, I couldn't just leave her there."

"Oh, no now don't you dare give me that, I know you, you wouldn't keep her if you don't have a use for her, what is she if not just a sad pet for you?"

"Don't talk about her like that."

Fuck, I can't think well with him here.

"Fine, but your children aren't blessed by Light, right?"

"No, what children, wait how did you know?"

"You do know that you won't be able to keep them right?"

"I will." I muttered under my breath more to myself than to him.

My girl started to scream for my help and to let her out as she pounded onto the basement door.

I held my palm against my throbbing head.

"Coming, coming!" I yelled as I jumped up with a stumble to get the door.

"Wow."

"Don't you dare say a word of this to her or else." I threatened my uncle before I unlocked the basement just for my dear to throw her whole weight against me.

"Oh, the door was stuck, you're okay now," I told her with deep concern as I held her in my arms safely. "Did they do anything to you my Sweetie, there are very bad people down there, don't go down there again okay also you shouldn't listen to a word that they say."

In the corner of my eye I saw Cole with a devilish smirk.

"I got the basket, I didn't look inside, I promise." My dear told me through tears.

My poor girl, she must have been so frightened down there in the basement.

"Good, good girl."

"It's okay, I've got you, Sweetheart."

She's so gullible, but she's mine now, mine, my responsibility, my girl, the mother of my children.

"Hey, doves give me another coffee." Cole interrupted rudely.

I sighed with a fear inducing glare of my purple eyes at my uncle's untouched coffee mug.
