In forest

Viraj's face twisted in rage as he scanned the empty clearing. His eyes blazed with fury, his jaw clenched in a tight line. "Where are they?" he snarled, his voice low and menacing.

Neil stood beside him, his expression a mix of concern and curiosity.

Viraj's anger boiled over. "How could they disappear?" he growled, pacing back and forth. "How could they evade me?" His eyes narrowed. "Surya thinks he's clever, but I'll show him. I'll show him what happens when you cross me."

He slammed his fist into the nearest tree, the impact echoing through the forest. Neil flinched slightly, but remained silent.

Viraj's phone rang, shrill in the silence. He snatched it up, listening intently. His expression darkened further. "What do you mean they were spotted near the stream?" he spat. "Why didn't you tell me?"

The voice on the other end stammered apologies, but Viraj cut him off. "Get the teams moving. I want them surrounded." He slammed the phone shut, his chest heaving with rage.

"Let's go," Viraj barked, already striding towards the stream. Neil fell into step beside him.

Hours passed, the sun dipping below the horizon. Viraj's anger never wavered. He pushed his men relentlessly, driven by a singular focus.

And then, suddenly, they found them. Tara and Surya, huddled together, their eyes wide with fear. Viraj's anger surged, triumphant. He had them now.

"You thought you could escape?" he sneered, his eyes locked onto Surya. "You thought you could hide?" His gaze flicked to Tara. "She's mine now. And you...you're nothing."

Surya stood tall, defiance burning in his eyes, but Viraj saw the fear lurking beneath. He knew he had won.

Neil's presence was a steady reassurance, a reminder that Viraj wasn't alone in this.

With a curt gesture, Viraj's men closed in, surrounding Tara and Surya. The net had tightened. There was no escape.

Viraj's anger finally began to dissipate, replaced by a cold satisfaction. He had them now. And soon, he would make them wish they had never crossed him.

Tara’s Pov

I trembled beside Surya, Viraj's triumphant smile making my blood run cold. His eyes seemed to bore into my soul, and I felt trapped.

"You thought you could escape?" he sneered, his voice dripping with malice.

Surya stood tall, his hand still clasping mine. "We'll never give up," he said, defiance burning in his eyes.

Viraj chuckled. "Brave words, Surya. But futile."

Neil stood beside Viraj, his expression unreadable. I searched for any sign of sympathy, but his eyes remained neutral.
