Joe's POV

"Do you want to come back to mine?"

My eyes widened. Was she serious?

"Are you sure?" I asked, hardly daring to hope.

She nodded, looking as surprised by her invitation as I felt.

"Yeah, I'm sure."

A slow smile spread across my face.

"Ok," I said, trying to keep my voice steady despite the rush of excitement I felt.

I knew going to Ally's place could complicate things even further, but I couldn't bring myself to care.

All I knew was that I wasn't ready for this night to end and let go of her again.

--

A few moments later

Our eyes locked as she fumbled with her keys. The air between us was electric, charged with unspoken words and barely contained passion.

As she pushed the door open, I followed her inside, the click of the lock behind us sounding final, sealing us away from the outside world.

For a moment, we stood in her dimly lit entryway, the tension palpable.

Ally's chest rose and fell rapidly, mirroring my own quickened breathing.

I wanted to reach out and touch her, to pull her close, but I held back, waiting.

Ally moved to the kitchen, her movements slightly unsteady.

"Drink?" she called over her shoulder, her voice more breathy than usual.

"Please," I replied, my eyes never leaving her silhouette.

Ally returned, handing me a glass of wine, her eyes never leaving mine.

As we sipped on the wine, I could see the internal struggle playing out on her face.

We both knew we should talk, should figure out what this meant, but the desire to touch, to feel, was overwhelming.

Unable to resist any longer, I set our glasses aside and closed the distance between us. My hand found her waist, pulling her against me. Ally's fingers tangled in my shirt, and I felt her shiver as our bodies pressed together.

Our lips met in a heated kiss, months of longing and regret pouring out. My hands roamed her back, relearning the curves I'd missed so much. Ally's fingers threaded through my hair, tugging gently in a way that made me groan.

Between kisses, I murmured, "Ally, we really should-"

"I know," whispered Ally, "But not now."

We stumbled further into her apartment, neither willing to break the kiss. The rational part of my brain knew we should slow down, talk about what this meant, but as Ally's hands slipped under my shirt, her touch burning against my skin, all rational thought fled.

Breaking the kiss, Ally trailed hot, open-mouthed kisses down my neck, nipping at the sensitive skin as my hands moved up her body, cupping her breasts.

"I hate how much I need you," Ally said annoyed, her breath hot on my neck.

I pulled back slightly, my eyes dark with desire, "Yeah? Show me."

With that, she pushed me onto the couch, kneeling before me. With her eyes full of lust, she leaned in and placed a soft, wet kiss on my torso.

I sighed, my eyes fluttering closed as I anticipated her mouth on me. Ally, however, had other plans. Teasing me, she runs her tongue along my V-line, slowly making her way down.

As she reached my boxers, she took out my throbbing member. Biting her lip, she took my length in her hand, stroking it slowly, before swirling her tongue around the tip.

My hands threaded through her hair, guiding her deeper as she sucked me eagerly.

"That's it, baby," I groaned.

Ally looked up at me through her lashes, her eyes sultry, as she continued sucking.

"I need to feel you inside me," she suddenly whispered, her eyes pleading.

I didn't need to be asked twice.

I lifted Ally in my arms and carried her to the bedroom, slamming her on the bed, before positioning myself between her thighs.

With one smooth thrust, I slid inside her, Ally gasping at the sensation, her eyes rolling back, soon both reaching our climax.

--

The room was quiet now, except for the soft sound of our breathing. This time it was different. Instead of leaving, we found ourselves longing for affection.

I wrapped my arms around Ally's waist, pulling her close, as she nestled into my chest, her head tucked under my chin.

Ally's fingers traced lazy patterns on my skin, while I gently stroked her hair. The tension that had filled the air before now melted away, replaced by a tender intimacy.

Neither of us spoke, afraid that words will ruin the moment we were sharing. In this moment, the complications of our relationship seemed to fade, leaving only the simple truth of how we felt in each other's arms.

The difficult conversations could wait. For now, we allowed ourselves this quiet connection, a silent affirmation of the bond that still longed between us.

The next morning

Ally's POV

Sunlight streamed through the curtains, gently pulling me from my sleep. As consciousness returned, I became acutely aware of the warm body next to me. Joe.

Memories of last night flooded back, a mix of emotions coursing through me - desire, happiness, and an undercurrent of anxiety.

I turned to find Joe already awake, his eyes soft as they met mine. For a moment, we just laid there, drinking each other in.

The morning light cast a golden glow on his features, and I fought the urge to trace them with my fingertips.

"Hi," he whispered, his voice husky with sleep.

"Hi," I replied, my own voice barely audible.

"Good mor-"

The weight of everything unsaid hung heavy between us. I took a deep breath, gathering my courage before I interrupted him.

"Joe... what are we doing?"
