You were walking down the hall, your messy blonde bun falling apart in seconds. You switched arms from left to right for holding your books, but it didn't work out.
Just as you lifted your arm up to meet the end of your bun, the tie snapped, and your books fell. All of your books went everywhere, from the new kids feet, around 20 yards away, to the sciene classroom, 10 yards away. Laughter filled the hall.
"Here," said an Irish voice approaching you. You looked up to see the new kid, a transfer from Ireland. His name was Niall. "You seemed to have dropped your books." His blonde hair was shaggy, and even his blue eyes sparkled. He was entrancing. He was interesting. He was single.
"Erm, thanks Niall. I appreciate it." He handed you the books as you carefully held them tight. Right as you began to walk away, he called you back over.
"I didn't catch your name, love."
"My name is Annie," you said with a quiet giggle. It seemed that the halls cleared out, and you both were late for Period 3.
"Well, Annie, I would appreciate if you maybe came out with me, maybe tomorrow night?" He gave a reassuring wink. You immediatley nodded, interested in him.
"Sure, Niall. But-" Just as you were about to finish your sentence, Principal Skidmore ran over to you both.
"Niall Horan! Annie (y/l/n)! I expected better behavior! You both are now late to class! Detention tomorrow after school!" his loud voice boomed. You shared a look with Niall. After your principal left, you shared a giggle with him.
"I guess I know what we're doing as our first date," Niall said before echoeing the halls with loud laughter, even causing classroom teachers to close their doors.
