We walk for a bit, talking here and there, but I can't seem to shake off the feeling of some grand secret these guys are keeping from me.

I can feel it every time I talk to them. They look at me a certain way, like they're trying to analyze me.

And San's doing the same exact thing right now, and I'm trying to ignore it, but it's getting tougher by the minute.

San's presence feels... different. There's this unspoken energy around him–like he's testing the waters with every word, every step that brings him a little closer to me.

I sneak a glance at him, but he's already looking at me, a small smirk tugging at his lips. "You're quieter than before," he says, his voice lower, almost like he's teasing me without saying much at all. "What's on your mind?"

"I'm just... processing everything," I stammer, trying to keep my voice steady. "New job, new place, all of you guys."

"Hmm," he hums, his tone deep, a little too calm, like he knows something I don't. "You seem to handle it pretty well. Except for that little... incident with Seonghwa." He steps just a little closer, his body brushing against mine as we walk, making my pulse quicken.

I clear my throat, trying to keep the conversation light, but San's energy is pulling me in. "I really didn't mean to walk in on him, I swear."

"Oh, I know," San says, his voice dipping lower. "But I think it's cute how flustered you get." His eyes flick down to my lips, just for a second, but it's enough to send a wave of heat rushing through me.

"You're easy to read, you know that?"

My breath catches, and I laugh nervously, brushing my hair behind my ear. "Easy to read?"

San's lips curl into a smirk, and he leans in just slightly, his voice dropping to a near-whisper. "Yeah. I can tell when you're nervous. Or when something else is going through that pretty little head of yours."

Oh my God. My stomach flips, and I can't help but wonder how this conversation spiraled so quickly into this–San's voice dripping with dominance, his body language making it clear he's testing me, seeing how far I'll let him push me.

"I–uh–" I stumble over my words, and San laughs softly, his hand briefly brushing against the small of my back, almost like a warning of what he could do if he really wanted to.

"Relax," he says into my ear, his voice smooth but commanding, his hand lingering just a little too long on my lower back before he pulls it away. "I'm just having fun with you. Unless... you want me to do more than just talk."

I freeze, blinking up at him, unsure of how to respond, but my body betrays me with the heat creeping up my neck and spreading all the way to my face.

San chuckles again, his voice thick with amusement, but there's a dark edge to it, something teasing but also serious. "Thought so."

"You'll be fun to play with."

We walk the rest of the way in silence, but every step feels like a game, the tension between us crackling in the cool night air.

He's testing me–seeing how far I'll go before I snap. But there's no denying it anymore: San is not just flirting. He's laying down the groundwork, and it's all wrapped up in that dominating, controlling energy that's impossible to ignore.

Every single alleyway we go past is inviting me to just push him up against the wall and just make out with him for the rest of the night. But I manage to control my urges.

As we approach the dorm, he opens the door for me, letting me walk inside first, but I can feel him watching me, his eyes taking in every move I make.

"You sure you can handle all of us?" he asks softly, his voice laced with that same teasing dominance.
