"Y/n, there's a party tonight." Jiji yelled, banging on the toilet door.
"Oh yeah?" I replied, finishing my makeup.
"Yes, you coming? Neshans invited us. It's nothing like party's our age. It's like drinking and raving." She explained.
"Then yes, I am definitely down." I said, opening the door and smiling.
"Okay, wear a dress."
"Okay."
"I told you to wear a dress, not dress like some nun!" Jiji yelled, pushing me back into our shared room by my shoulders.
"Didn't know there was a dress code." I grumbled.
"Wear this."
"Ooh, nice."
She handed me a black mini dress.
"Now I'll be a slutty nun." I giggled.
"Y/n!" Jiji said fake gasping.
"The audacity." I muttered laughing.
Jiji wore a pink mini dress.
She dragged me to Neshans car and we both climbed in sitting down.
"Excited?" Neshan asked as he started the engine, pulling out of the drive.
I nodded, looking out of the window.
"I have some rules, though. If mum finds out, we are in trouble. But she won't. Just in case she does, I want to be able to say honestly that you didn't get drunk or make out with some random stranger." Neshan rambled.
"Shut up, you sound like dad." Jiji huffed, pulling out her phone.
"You won't be telling Mum to shut up when she screams at you for doing the opposite of what I say." He retorted, pulling up to a warehouse.
Jiji immediately jumped out, slamming the door shut behind her. I followed suit but didn't slam the door.
"Ji, don't ditch me, bro!" I complained, walking after her.
"Sorry. Yeah, let's keep together." She said, slowing down her pace so I could catch up.
"Nidals already there."
"Huh? Nidal? He's there?" I said my mouth, opening and shutting like a fish on land.
"Yeah? What's wrong with that?" She asked side, eyeing me.
I shook my head.
"Nothing. Nothing at all."
Jiji gave me a suspicious look before pushing open the doors. They didn't budge.
"Dammit. Do you think you have to have some special key? Or code?" She said, pushing the door again.
I stiffled a laugh gently, pulling her back and then also pulling open the door.
"Oh. Well, they should have a sign! Anybody could do the same." She mumbled, walking in.
I chuckled from behind her following her. As soon as I had opened the door, loud pumping music blasted out.
Sound proof much.
Lights flashed, bodies were packed together, some dancing some trying to make their way through the heavy crowd.
I groaned as I realised I had lost Jiji.
Already. Hadn't even been here a minute, and I was already lost.
"Y/n!"
I span around facing Nidal.
"Hey fancy seeing you here! I didn't think you'd like this." He slurred, waving around a red plastic cup before taking a sip of whatever liquid was in it.
"Yeah. Are you? Are you drunk?" I whispered, staring up at him, my eyes slightly squinting as if I was trying to look past his eyes and into his mind.
"What? Pft. Yeah." He muttered, rolling his eyes.
I was not the kind of person to get wasted at a teenage rave.
"How many drinks?"
"Like four."
"Damn, I bet you ten quid. I can beat that!" I said, grabbing his wrist and pulling him behind me.
Maybe I lied.
