[Emma's POV]

I gnawed on the tip of my thumb as I stared at my overflowing suitcases, "Yeah, we may have a small issue..." I trailed off before glancing at Emily, who sat in the middle of my chaos with her mouth gaped wide open.

"Small? You call this small?!" She exclaimed, frantically waving her hands while gesturing to the mess surrounding her.

"Yes," I responded, nodding my head. She stared at me with a look of disbelief, "What?" I questioned, perplexed as to why she was staring at me like that.

"You need to leave some things behind, babe. You're moving to America, not Antarctica," she answered whilst holding up one of my fur coats that I wore during winter.

I pouted as she was holding up one of my favourite coats, "But if I am taking the others, I can't leave Ruby behind." I simply retorted, and she stared at me with her eyebrows furrowed.

"Who?" She questioned, confused at what I was saying.

"My coat. I can't leave Ruby behind," I tell her, leaning forward to tug the material out of her grasp. I watched as she blinks her eyes twice.

"Rubyyou name your fucking clothes!" She started off quiet before exclaiming in pure disbelief while waving her hands in the air like a headless chicken.

I frowned, but as I opened my mouth to reply to her, my bedroom door swung open. I shifted my gaze towards the entrance of my bedroom to only stare into my brother's green eyes. "What's going on in here?" He questioned with furrowed eyebrows as he quickly scanned the room, "And why does your room look as if a tornado hit it?"

I huffed and crossed my arms across my chest. "Emily keeps throwing the things I need out of my suitcase," I complained to him, and he raised an eyebrow.

"Emily?" He asks her, stepping further into the room, avoiding a pile of clean clothes that remained scattered by my door.

"She doesn't need some of them, Ethan. Like, what is the point of her taking this?" she says whilst holding up the coat that I had previously snatched off her.

"It might get cold in L.A." I grumble, irritated by her need to involve my brother.

Emily raised an eyebrow.

"What? It could!" I defensively said and looked at the clothes before glancing over at my brother, who simply stood and stared at the disastrous mess that covered the floor of my bedroom.

"Emily might have a point, Emmy..." Ethan said, trailing off while keeping his gaze fixed on one of my lavender suitcases, which seemed to be overflowing with clothes that were just thrown in rather than being neatly folded. "Why are you even taking your UGG's?" He questioned as his gaze landed on one of the pairs of UGG's that sat atop a pile of clothes.
