Chapter 18: Ideas

They were trapped. Emerald felt her heart drop as the sight of the evil god looked upon them. This was her doing, and she was going to get them out but how? "How do we get out? Were cornered," Blaze said voicing Emerald's thoughts. "Emerald use chaos control to get us out of here," Sadow said keeping his eyes still on his look alike. Emerald turned to him looking as if he just asked her to grow another head. "Chaos what?" He looked at her annoyed. "With you being able to use our powers now you should be able to do Caos control like me. With using the chaos emeralds power you can manipulate it to in a sense teleport yourself and possibly others." Sonic pushed through coming to the two hedgehogs. "Ya, but last time I checked you needed a chaos emerald for that, and from the looks of it," he gestured to the floor. "They kinda broke," Miss Sol shook her head at the blue speedster's comment, "Even before the emeralds were fixed somewhat Emerald still held their power in some form, " Everyone turned to Emerald who worriedly thought of this new possibility. "Well... let's give it a shot." Everyone nodded their heads. Sonic's confident smile slowly faded into worry. "Well Em better get going because big bad and angry is heading our way!" everyone turned to see that Ceilos was already slowly heading down the stairs and was halfway down eyes still set on them ready to kill. "Everyone hold onto Emerald," Shadow yelled. They quickly huddled up around her. Sonic and Shadow held onto her shoulders while Blaze touched one of her quills. Miss Sol took hold of her hand while Silver now blushing held her other. Celios had now made it down the stairs and readily held out his hand ready to blaze him with his godly power. Emerald looked to Shadow "Say Chaos control," he said helping her thrush the steps. She nodded closing her eyes. "Chaos control!" she said nothing happened. Opening her eyes she saw that they were still trapped. Sonic tugged on Emerald's shoulder. "Now would be a good time E!" Celios was now on top of them. Panicking Emerald squeezed her eyes shut. "CHAOS CONTROL!" Celios blasted them and Emerald prepared to be shot down. "You can open your eyes now," Shadow said making her blink. Light filled her eyesight making her blink a few times as she looked around to see them in the garden. Everyone sighed as they realized they had made it out. "I knew we'd make it," Sonic said as he confidently smiled. Shadow only rolled his eyes most likely commenting telepathically because Sonics smile turned to annoyance as he side eyed the black hedgehog. "Miss Sol, Blaze Sons of Heephis you're here," Everyone turned to see the other demy-gods heading their way, some of them slightly hurt with a few scrapes. When they noticed Emerald they quickly stopped unsure. Emerald's face fell to the ground, "Hey don't worry she's with us now," Silver said calming the tension. "Did you defeat Heephis?" Miss Sol asked worry and panic in her eyes. Chaos quickly came up to her smiling. "Don't worry we took care of him," She sighed somewhat relived. "We also found a way to defeat them, They have a weakness," Mogul said as he kept Antonie steady who was by the looks of things supporting a sprained ankle. Blaze looked at them confused and intrigued. "A weakness, but the gods have zero to none," Bunnie shook her head. "Not these things, they might look like the gods but sure enough they are not the real things. It's as if Emerald only brought some part of them and put it into the ghostly form they have." The hedgehogs, Miss Sol and Blaze took into this new information. "So what did you do to take down Heephis," Blaze asked. Chaos stepped forward. "I don't know how but I remember training mutch with my mentor. He taught me many things but one move was very special to both him and me. I used it while we fought this his ghostly form and it seemed to have struck a memory snapping him out of his evil trance." "So all we have to do is give the two grumpy gods who want to kill us a heartfelt memory? Touching," Sadow said. Sonic put his arm around him. "Don't fret Shads, we just need to take them one at a time," Antoine limped forward Bunnie helped by taking him from Mogul. "Mizz Sol, You were close Celios. Iz their any memory zat would undo zis tainted form?" Miss Sol thought immediately of something but shook her head. "I don't have many heartfelt memories we were always business and training unlike Chaos and Heephis," everyone looked at her not believing her words. Chaos took hold of her hands. "We all know that is a lie dear, I have known you for most of my life." The blue cat sighed pink slightly tinting her cheeks. Sonic smiled elbowing Blaze. "This is gonna be good," Miss Sol sighed and raised her head. "We may or may have not during time off, Sang and Danced." Chaos looked at her confused. "Why would you be embarrassed? You are a wonderful dancer," Emerald nodded. "You taught me and the guys, remember." Miss Sol shook her head. "Not Waltz... Folk Dancing, Mexican Folk Dancing," Everyone was silent. "You're telling me that Miss Cat is doing a happy dance, I thought she was all serious and business is business? I had to practice waltzing with her for 3 HOURS!" Sonic said shocked. Miss Sol slightly smiled. "It was a time where I was happy, although most of my dedication was towards the gods and paradise Celios would always have me cool down with a new dance or song to sing. "I always noticed how you would be dancing through the halls when you thought no one was watching," Miss Sol blushed at his words but suddenly composed herself when she saw everyone looking at them. "Ahem, well yes but that was when I was young I don't have time for that now, I have paradise to run now. There must be something else that could snap him out of his trance," Chaos sighed. "We all know, you included, that this is the best way." Miss Sol looked at him worry starting to crack into her calm demeanor. Finally, she sighed, "Alright, I will see what I can do," Everyone smiled at her answer. "Great now that we got Big Shadow down all we need is to find god number three and take care of him." Sonic said on his feet and ready to go. Chaos gathered the group. "Me and the other demy-gods will go and find Zeilo," He looked at Antonie. "Will you be alright?" Antonie asked Bunnie to let off of him, He stood tall putting a little weight on his hurt ankle. "I vill manage," he said confidently. Chaos nodded the looked at the hedgehogs and his wife. "Sol take the hedgehogs and find Celios. Once you have defeated him find us," Everyone nodded their heads to the plan. With no time to waste Chaos leads the Demy-gods out of the garden leaving Miss Sol to lead the hedgehogs out a different way. Sonic came up beside Shadow who was looking at Silver who was quickly walking beside Emerald. "Has any of them noticed yet?" Shadow shook his head a small smile playing on his face. Both hedgehogs watched as Silvers hand was still held onto Emeralds, both not noticing in the slightest. Sonic snickered. "Should we tell them?" he asked. Shadow shook his head "Let them figure it out on their own." Both of them silently laughed in their heads. Silver hearing them turned around wondering what they were laughing about, it was usually odd to see the two hedgehogs get along. He looked down to see what they were laughing about and instantly turned red when he noticed that his hand was still holding onto Emeralds. Quickly without her noticing he let go putting his hands behind his back still madly blushing. 'Focus Silver,' he chided himself. Behind him, the two chuckling hedgehogs noticed that Silver had let go. Sighing they looked at the young hedgehog. "Dude needs to learn to face his feelings," Sonic whispered to Shadow. The black hedgehog looked at him pointedly. "Says the hedgehog who still can't face the fact that he and a certain pink hedgehog belong together," Immediately Sonics muzzle turned pink. Shadow laughed to himself at the predicament of the two hedgehogs before him. He would never be in the same predicament they were, he knew that for certain. But he always enjoyed seeing them try and figure it out knowing that he would never act like that if he did happen to find someone. 'They are ridiculous,' he said to himself. Sonic and Silver turned to him their muzzles still blushing a bit. "HEY," Shadow smiled at them slightly chuckling.
