A bright light showed in the darkness. A figure looked up the light reflecting in his eyes. He smiled, oh how he had waited for this day. "The little princess has found the emeralds," He sat up from his seat everything was broken and rigid. Everything was like this in limbo. Quickly he reached for a green spark that had come from the blast of power. It filled him up with power with just a touch. This would finally be his way back and to take care of that girl. He would make her family suffer but she was in the way. He quickly sealed the spark up before it could vanish. He laughed menacingly. "Now my dark purpose will be fulfilled, and the Hedgehog line will DIE!"
"In the dark of the night I was tossing and turning, and the nightmare I had was as bad as can be, it scared me out of my wits, A corps falling to bits. Then I opened my eyes and the nightmare was ME!"
Shadows started forming around him.
♫"I was once the most powerful being in all of Cosium,"
Shadows: " Oh ah oh,"
"When the hedgehogs betrayed me they made a mistake,"
Shadows: "Oh ah oh,"
"My curse would have made each of them pay, but ONE little girl got away! Little emerald beware, My shadows awake!"♫
The figure slowly walked down the to a floating platform under him and stroked the bottle the spark was held in.
Shadows: ♫"In the dark of the night, evil will find her. In the dark of the night, just before dawn."
"Revenge will be sweet, When my plan is complete,"
Shadows: "In the dark of the night..."
"She'll be be gone!,"
Shadows: "Oh oh oh oh oh OH!"♫
The figure made a shadow of emerald bowing to her mockingly.
♫"I can feel my powers are slowly returning, Tie my sash, add a dash of cologne for that smell,"♫
Slowly he came up behind her as she looked into a mirror some shadows held up for her. Then he smashed it along with the shadow of her.
♫"As the pieces fall into place, I'll see her crawl into place! Do svidaniya Emerald your grace, farewell,"
Shadows: "In the dark of the night, terror will strike her,"
"Terrors the least I can do!"
Shadows: "In the dark of the night, evil will brew,"
"Soon She will feel, that her nightmares are real,"
Shadows: "In the dark of the night,"
"She'll be through!"♫
The figure walked to a cauldron filled with black tar. It bubbled as he got near.
Shadows: ♫"In the dark of the night, evil will find her.(Find Her) In the dark of the night, terror comes through. (Doom Her)"
"My dear, here's a sign. It's the end of the line!"
Shadows: "In the dark of the night. In the dark of the night!"♫
The figure started throwing shadows into the cauldron. Opining the bottle as well to throw the spark inside.
♫"Come my minions, Rise for your master. Let your evil shine!"
Shadows: "In the dark of the night,"
"I'll find her now. Yes, Bring me to her."
Shadows: "In the dark of the, In the dark of the NIGHT!"
"SHE'LL BE MINE!"♫
With that he threw in the spark with a flurry of explosions. Lastly he threw in a piece of paper laughing as it burned and sunk into the tar. The picture was a photo of the royal family The king, queen and the princess. As he laughed the paper shriveled closing into the princesses face.
In a dark place of Paradise sickly green smoke formed into a grinning shadow. "I will find you," he said as he shot off into the darkness.
