it was officially the first day of college. zara usually was really excited for school but it was a new school and she didn't really know if it was going to be the same.
zara met jazzy when she danced for her basketball team, they clicked instantly. it made their friendship even better when they realized they were going to the same college.
that night zara was on the phone with jazzy talking about how their day was going to be, zara decided to pick up jazzy so they could go to starbucks and their classes they had together. zara woke up early and got dressed , she had on a cardigan with a white crop top and baggy jeans on. she decided to wear her lanvins with the outfit.
she left home and went on her way to pick up jazzy. when she picked up jazzy they made small talk and got their starbucks. afterwards they were at school, zara was really nervous but jazzy helped her calm down.
zara didn't have her first class with jazzy so she had to find her way through the school, which of course she found her self being lost. while looking down at her schedule she accidentally bumped into someone. she quickly apologized looking up and looked back down at her papers on the floor. she quickly scrambled to pick them up "lost?" she heard the person infront of her say.
she rised up after picking up her papers and nodded. she looked up at the taller figure. the girl had a high slick bun with a usc sweater and baggy jeans. she looked slightly familiar but zara couldn't think of it.
"i can tell .. i'm juju. i could take you to your class if you'd like." the girl said. zara quickly nodded "i'm zara, and that would be helpful" juju smiled sensing her nervousness. "so who do you have first?" zara looked down at her paper and looked back up "i have mrs.brown.. i just couldn't seem to find her room" juju nodded and started to walk "follow me" she said.
after a few minutes of walking with juju, a little small talk here and there. zara looked up seeing the class room. she looked at juju and smiled "thanks juju." juju looked at zara "you're welcome, hey do you have anything i could contact you on?" juju replied. zara nodded, "you can have my number." zara looked down and wrote her number on a scrap of paper and gave it to juju. "thanks, i'll be in contact with you" zara smiled and nodded, she gave juju a side hug which juju gave back. "see you around." zara waved and walked into her class.
that encounter had butterflies in zara's stomach everytime she thought about it throughout her day.
