The city is in chaos, smoke rising from the ruins of Jaku Hospital as heroes scramble to defend the citizens and contain the threat of the monstrous Nomu and Tomura Shigaraki. Amidst the destruction, Mizuhana stands her ground. Her heart pounds, each beat filled with determination as she channels her Quirk—waterbending—surging through her veins like the rivers she commands.
Sweat beads her brow as she watches the heroes around her engage Tomura, but she knows her place is beside Shota, to support him while he uses his Erasure to keep the villain's Quirks at bay. He can’t be distracted, she reminds herself, her eyes darting between Tomura and the countless streams of water she draws from broken pipes and the air’s moisture itself, creating a swirling vortex around them.

First-Person POV: Mizuhana
Shota stands just ahead of me, his eyes never leaving Tomura as I control the water around us, creating shields of ice, ready to douse any flames or debris. He's the anchor of our defense—without him, the entire plan would fall apart. I can feel the weight of his exhaustion, though he doesn’t show it. It’s been endless minutes of keeping Tomura’s Quirks nullified, but I know better. Shota is reaching his limit.
A deep roar rips through the air as Endeavor strikes Tomura with a massive blast of fire. I can hear him shouting through the comms that he needs backup, that Tomura is faster and more relentless than they thought.
Before I can think, a piece of debris hurtles toward Shota—too fast. I barely have time to react, sending a stream of water into the air, hardening it into ice just in time to deflect the attack.
"Stay focused, Shota!" I call out, knowing he hates distractions, but my voice cuts through his tension like a knife.
His response is gruff, but there’s warmth behind it. "I don’t need you worrying about me, Mizuhana. Focus on the fight."
But I do worry. I always worry. I can feel the tension between us, the weight of all we’ve been through pressing against my chest. I’ve never been able to tell him how much I care about him, not when the world is falling apart around us. Yet here we are, side by side, fighting for a future that seems more uncertain by the second.
---
First-Person POV: Shota
Mizuhana’s quick save with her Quirk pulls me out of the fog of fatigue. I grit my teeth. I can’t afford to lose focus, not now. If I slip for even a moment, Tomura will unleash hell. But Mizuhana…she’s always watching my back. Even now, when the stakes couldn’t be higher, she’s worrying about me when she should be watching herself.
"Don’t push yourself too hard, Mizuhana!" I yell, my voice harsh but laced with concern. She always overdoes it, trying to shield me when it should be the other way around.
Tomura breaks free from Endeavor’s latest attack, his gaze snapping toward Deku, and I realize too late that I’m not fast enough to stop him. But Deku’s already charging in with Bakugo beside him, both of them ready to counter Tomura’s every move.
---
First-Person POV: Mizuhana
Deku and Bakugo are doing everything they can to keep Tomura from reaching Shota, and I feel the air crackle with intensity as their Quirks clash. But I know it’s only a matter of time before Tomura breaks through their defenses. He’s too strong now. Too fast. And Shota... I can feel his energy waning.
I won’t let him fall.
"Shota!" I shout, rushing to his side, weaving water around us both as I cool the air and shield him with a protective wave. "We’ve got this, okay? Just hang in there."
His eyes flicker with something unreadable—maybe frustration, maybe gratitude—but he says nothing, just nods, his focus razor-sharp once more.
A massive explosion rips through the battlefield as Bakugo launches an all-out assault on Tomura, and Deku follows up with a Blackwhip strike, trying to hold him in place. But Tomura shrugs it off like nothing, charging straight for Shota again, his eyes locked on us with a chilling focus.
Not on my watch.
I slam the ground with my foot, sending a geyser of water roaring toward Tomura, freezing it into jagged spikes as it surges toward him. It’s not enough to stop him, but it slows him down, giving Endeavor the opening he needs to strike again.
---
Third-Person POV
Amid the chaos, Endeavor seizes the moment, launching himself at Tomura with a searing attack, his flames bright against the backdrop of destruction. The villain barely dodges, his eyes narrowing in frustration as he struggles to shake off Eraser Head’s hold on his Quirks.
Mizuhana stands strong at Shota’s side, her waterbending the perfect complement to his Erasure. She shields him from the debris, the flames, and the chaos, her gaze never leaving his. Together, they make an unstoppable team.
But they both know this fight isn’t over—not by a long shot.
As Tomura charges again, this time faster and more relentless than before, Mizuhana readies herself. She won't let anything happen to Shota. Not now, not ever.
---
First-Person POV: Mizuhana
I take a deep breath, pulling water from the shattered ground and sending it surging toward Tomura, who’s closing the distance too fast. I won’t let him win. I can’t let him win.
Shota’s right beside me, his voice steady despite the chaos. "We’ve got this. Don’t let up."
His words, simple as they are, ground me. I won’t let him down. We’re in this together, just like we’ve always been.
As Tomura comes at us again, I feel a surge of power from deep within. The water around me responds to my every command, swirling and freezing as I use it to hold the line.
I glance at Shota, and in that moment, everything else fades away. The battle, the chaos, the fear—it all dissolves in the face of the one thing I know for certain: I will protect him, no matter the cost.
---
First-Person POV: Shota
Mizuhana’s power is breathtaking. I’ve always known it, but seeing her like this—strong, fierce, and utterly determined—reminds me why I fell for her in the first place. She’s everything I could ever want in a partner, both in life and on the battlefield.
"Don’t overdo it," I say, even though I know she won’t listen. She never does.
She glances at me, her expression softening for just a second, before she turns her focus back to Tomura. And in that moment, I know: whatever happens next, we’ll face it together.
---
Endeavor’s flame and Mizuhana’s water collide with Tomura, creating an intense, steaming explosion. In the midst of it, Shota stands tall, his eyes locked on his opponent, while Mizuhana’s protective waves swirl around them both, her love and determination shining through every move.
They’re a team—unbreakable, unstoppable.
And together, they will win this fight.
