Luke and I met when I first bought hair dye. He was looking for hair dye to, but I talked him out of it eventually. I didn't want him to lose his beautiful blonde hair. So I convinced him. We became best friends after that. I went with Luke to get his lip pierced, he went with me to get my eye brow pierced. I held him when he was crying because of his brothers death, he was there for me when I became depressed. Luke was gay and I was bi. We weren't the most popular people at school. And not being social made us complete outcasts. We had each other. And hence we became clingy. But then Luke got a boyfriend.. He avoided me with all costs. He still does. But the difference between now and then is that he broke up with his boyfriend 2 months ago. I didn't know why. But I have my answer now. "M-mikey... I need you.." Luke rasps into the phone them hangs up. I run to his house only a few streets over. When I get there I don't even knock. Just barge in a run up the stairs. When I get there I'm met with a bad sight.. Luke nothing but skin and bones on the bathroom floor. Luke sobs when he sees me, "M-mikey he told me I wasn't perfect. I just wanted to be perfect. Then when we broke up I just wanted to be perfect for you Mikey I'm so sorry. I just want to be enough." I pull him into my arms and let him sob. While I whisper sweet nothing's into his ear. "You are enough, Luke. I will always think you are enough. Luke you perfect to me. Your perfectly imperfect, even when your skin and bones. And I love you Luke. I have since the very beginning." Luke looks up at me with tear filled eyes and whispers, "I just wanted to be perfect Mikey. He never mattered. I wanted to be perfect for you Mikey, always have." I hold him to my chest and kiss his head. I whisper, "Your definition of perfect is to different from mine Lukey."
