Aiden and Benji walked home, unaware of the danger lurking nearby.
"Benji, do you think something's off?" Aiden asked.
"I don't know, but I've got a bad feeling," Benji replied.
Meanwhile, Rowan tracked the mysterious figure from the previous night.
You're getting closer, Rowan thought.
Kealin Vex summoned a dark sorcerer.
"Create a shadow clone to distract Rowan," Kealin ordered.
The sorcerer nodded and began the ritual.
As night fell, Aiden's neighborhood transformed. Shadows twisted and turned.
"What's happening?" Aiden asked, frightened.
Rowan appeared, his eyes glowing.
"Stay close, Aiden," Rowan whispered.
Aiden's eyes widened.
"Who are you?" Aiden asked.
Rowan's expression turned cold.
"You don't need to know," Rowan replied.
The shadow clone emerged, attacking Rowan.
Aiden watched in awe as Rowan fought.
"Benji, is that...?" Aiden started.
Benji nodded.
"The one who's been protecting you," Benji finished.
Aiden's eyes locked onto Rowan.
The truth began to unravel.
