I woke to the hot air and humidity engulfing me whole.

I couldn't move, nor did I want to. My eyes didn't want to open either. In fact, I wanted to lie wherever I was forever. My body was too numb to lift a finger.

When the thunder made me jump, I realized I was outside. The crickets sang in my ears and the grass flowed with the breeze between my legs. By now, I could feel my legs getting tickled. With my eyes still closed, I noticed my breathing was slow, and my body relaxed. Barely opening my eyes, I saw the night sky full of stars while my breathing started to regulate.

My eyes couldn't open all the way and the little that I could see was blurred. Closing my eyes again I tried to think of something, anything but my mind drew multiple blanks.  My body felt as if it was dying yet slowly coming back to life. Somehow I had found the strength to open my eyes again, a bit wider than before.

I tried to get up but my strength failed me.

I fell back with a slight thump. With another breath, I tried again, more effort this time.

Once I leveled myself, I felt something wet drip down my leg. I didn't bother to look down. I figured there were important things to focus on like where the hell was I? And why the fuck do I feel this weak?

Then the sensation grew,  I felt more adding to this mysterious wetness. I hate investigating shit if we being honest. I wasn't in the mood to be even more confused than I already was.  Tilting my head down, I see red.

It's blood.

This wasn't no period blood either. Where was Aunt Flo when you needed her? Before panic could grow, I felt my nose. I was both relieved and Confused, with that I wiped it. I looked at my legs, they didn't look good in the slightest. I tried standing, after nearly falling, I regained balance.

Rubbing my eyes I stumbled back a little, just a little. I tried opening them wider to scan my surroundings, and listen closely. Once I heard the crashing of water against rocks, I knew exactly where I was.
