The purple dragon got the message and crawled in the next vent. It was difficult for her to camouflage her identity because she had no shapeshift ability. The agents were not as big as adult dragons, but their height was enough to get unwanted attention. Emi slid through the cold vents and shivered. Meanwhile Nanashi looked at the blueprints of the facility and Kenta at the camera footages to get sure Emi was safe and undetected. Isamu used his ability to notify Emi about everything, it was more inconspicuous than using the communicators.
The virus should be in this area. There are no cameras in the laboratory and no vent is connected with the room. The only way to get inside is through the entrance but be careful, there are two guards and cameras you need to get rid of first. Emi listened at Isamu’s words attentively and opened the vent’s trap door carefully. She used her long tail to twist the cameras, then she jumped out swiftly to knock out the guards. She used their handprints to open the door and went inside. Now she needed to act fast.
She felt her heartbeat getting faster when she heard people inside the room. She quickly ducked down and crawled on the ground. Nobody seemed to notice her. There were 3 people across the room who were talking about a test subject. “I had to put down the test subject, our client wanted to get sure that this project stays a secret.” Stated on of the scientists. “That fool we just needed to chain that beast and watch the virus do its thing. Now we need another subject to see our results.” Replied the other. “We will find another dragon who is gullible enough. Poor bastard thought he was part of a marine research program.” The other scientist shrugged. “Sucks to be him.” Emi shivered, the poor dragon had to be the whistleblower. How could somebody be so heartless? She knew that dragons were seen as beasts, but sometimes she feared humans more than anything else. Emi promised herself to get sure that the whistleblower didn’t die in vain.

The agent looked around and saw a safe next to the scientists. It had a handprint-lock like on the entrance door to the laboratory, she needed to be fast to knock out all three of them at the same time. The pushed a tool with her tail from the desk to split them up. One of them got went to the tool to pick it up. She used the opportunity and jumped into action. She grabbed his leg and yanked it hard. One down two to go. The other scientists were confused and went to look after the unconscious scientist on the ground. Emi got behind them and knocked out both at the same time with powerful hits on their necks. “There were three scientists in the lab, I knocked them out. I will now take the virus with me.” Spoke Emi in the communicator. She picked up one of them and used their handprint to open the safe. She put everything in an expandable capsule Akira had built for her.
Good, don’t forget to take the data from their computer as well. Nanashi has already opened it. Use the USB-sticks Akira prepared for you, answered Isamu telepathically. The purple dragon nodded and put a green stick to download everything. After the download was completed, she put in a red stick to destroy their system and corrupt their data.
Suddenly the lights went out and the alarm got off. Emi left the room and jumped back into the vent. She closed the trap door and slid through the vents as fast as possible.

She got out of the facility without being noticed. She swallowed the capsule to swim faster, then she heard another telepathic message from Isamu. Emi, we have to leave to avoid any more attention. Kenta sent you the coordinates to your communicator. We will meet there. The agent rolled her eyes. Great! They left without me, she thought a bit annoyed.

After about an hour of swimming, she emerged from the water. She sat on the ground completely exhausted. The adrenaline from the mission and swimming that long took her a lot of energy. “There you are Emi!”, Kenta exclaimed happily and helped her to get on her feet. “Wait a second Kenta …”, Emi replied and regurgitated the capsule she had swallowed earlier. Her friend stepped away. “Eww, man … ” She punched his shoulder but was too tired to say anything. She held the capsule tightly with her claws and slowly leaned her head on his shoulder. “Ah, you must be really exhausted, let me carry you to the vehicle.”
