Chapter 9: What Now?

Bruce (in Batman suit): Are you hurt...?

Shego looks still shocked at him.

Shego: (shocked) Bruce...Wayne...no, no, no...wait...Wayne-Guy IS THE BATMAN!?

Bruce looks at her with his usual cold stare.

Shego (shocked): That's...wow...I know Batman's secret identity...

Bruce (in Batman suit): Now you know who I am...what you'll make of it...it's your choice...

Shego (confused): Why...did you saved me, risking your identity!?

Bruce (in Batman suit): Because I'm not leaving anyone behind...no matter the cost.

Shego: (speechless)

Bruce turns around and walks up to one of the destroyed Spider-Robots and Shego follows him. Bruce starts look around for something. After lifting some debris and remains from Spider-Robot he finds his cape and cowl. He picks it up, he puts the cape on his shoulders and clips it around his neck.

Shego: You know, actually I somehow knew your voice from somewhere...just couldn't put my finger on it where I've heard it. But that explains who was your "friend" who bailed me out and pays for your toys and ride...because it was you all along.

Bruce puts the cowl back on and now he's Batman again. Then he looks for something again.

Shego: But...why are you doing this, Wayne? You were bored or something...?

Batman: I made a promise to some people...that I lost...

Shego: Who...OOOHHH you mean...geez, I'm...

Batman, after lifting another remains from the Spider-Robot, finds his utility belt. He picks it up and clips it on his hips.

Batman: Come on...we need to go, there's nothing for us down here.

Shego: And how do we get out of here?

Batman: Through the door.

Batman points to the other side of the room and Shego notices the small wooden door there.

Shego: Oh, okay.

Batman goes first towards the door and Shego follow him. After two characters cross the door, they enter old stair case and start to go up the old bavarian wooden staircase. Shego is now quiet, unlike before, while Batman is more focused on walking up.

Shego: So...Bruce...you know I'll stick to Bats...okay?

Batman doesn't answer her.

Shego: Look...if you're worried about me knowing who you are...your secret is safe with me...I'm not going THAT low.

Batman: I find it hard to believe.

Shego: Believe what you want...but I don't want to deal with your insane villains going after me for knowing who you are. Nuh uh! I have enough trouble with Drakken as it is...I don't need killer clowns, mutated crocs and other wacko's in my life.

Batman: Hm.

Shego: Look...Batman...I may be evil...but I'm not a psychopath...and I would never wished what happened to your folks on no one.

Batman: Even Kim Possible?

Shego: (sigh)...yes...even-KIMMIE. You can say I have „honor code" or whatever...

Batman: (pause) Thank you.

Shego: Any time Bats...

Shego winks at him and smiles at him. Batman and Shego reach the certain floor and Batman aproaches the door.
