A/N!: This is a story I had made in May of 2023, I have since then progressed a ton!
This story is copied and pasted from my Google Docs :,) so please excuse the margins and stuff like that. This was my first big story I had written then, So I have progressed a bunch... I'm so excited to be sharing this with the world, I hope you enjoy! :D
In one world, some girls have it all, in others some girls are trying to find their way in it. Then, there was me.
My name is Elodie Whitlock. I'm 16 and I just started going to Lakeside Private K-12 Academy.
I have blonde hair and blue eyes, what's more there to it?
My best friend Charlie Jones; short for Charlotte, has it all. I've been striving to be just like her, dirty brown hair, sweet, funny, everything a girl could truly be. But the thing about her is that she looks up to me for everything.
Charlie and I have been friends since the first grade and are now in high school together.
I may not be exactly like her, but she is the one person who would stick up for me when Vanna Jackson put gum in my hair one day on the bus.
When she stood up for me, it was like a weight lifted off my shoulder that I didn't know I even had.
It had freed me from the pressure that Vanna had given me.
Now Vanna has given me such a hard time the past couple of years and non-stop 'Charlie Stand-ups', I feel like Charlie deserves a break from all of this, just as much as I do.
So I think I should get her some fro-yo!
(Story start)
"Hey, Charlie! After school do you wanna go and get some fro-yo?" I asked.
"Sure! Plus I have to do some homework so it will be nice to sit down somewhere and work." She said.
"Okay, meet you out front after Advisory?" I asked.
"Yeah, See you later Eli!" She said.
"Bye!" I waved and smiled.
(Elodie walks to her locker)
She bumps into Vanna.
"Hey! Watch where you're going moron;" Vanna said.
"Sorry... I'm just trying to walk to my locker..."
(she makes her way to her locker)
"Boo!" Says Raj.
"Oh hey, Raj!" Says Elodie
"Hey Eli." he says.
"What class do you have next?" I ask.
"I have Math, what about you?" he says.
"I have Science next.." I groan.
"Very fun for you...!" He says.
"Anyways I gotta get going, but hey do you wanna get fro-yo with me and Charlie?" I ask.
"Sure. I've got nothing to do, but I have to bring my little brother Sal with me." He says.
"OK! See you then." I say.
"Alright, bye." He says.
"Bye," I say, then I run towards the staircase, panting to get to my next class.
