It keeps getting better and better hehe. I really hope you like this ahahhhhh! :DDDDDD DON'T BE A SILENT READER!!!!
"I didn't think you would be that fast!" I said.
"Hey, I did track." she said.
"Well, once in 9th grade, to be exact." she said.
"I did Volleyball in 9th grade, I still play with my siblings sometimes." I told her.
"We should play sometime, at your house maybe?" she asked/said.
"Yeah, that would be fun." I said.
"Well, do you wanna watch a movie?" I asked.
"Well, I was thinking we could play Mario Kart? I have the old one, but it still works." she said.
"I can't believe you have that! I've always wanted to try it! Let's do it." I said.
We set up the game on her Xbox, and then we picked our characters, carts, and stuff. Then the controllers were out, ready to play, thrn it was
Ready, Set, Go!
We raced, split screen.
"Oh my gosh, this little cart dosen't go that fast!" I said
"Not these spinny box things!" Iris said.
"Dude, there was a banana on the track!" Iris said.
"I just went the wrong way." I said.
"I SEE YOU!" I said.
Our conversations were so crazy, but in the end, I won, pretty good for my first time.
"Great job El." she said.
"Good game, Cheesecake." I said with a smirk on my face.
"Very funny." she said.
We then sat on the couch and talked to each other, we had a blanket and sat together.
"So, how has your day been?" she asks me.
"Amazing, I bought a dress, saw you, kissed you, held your hand, came out, it's been the most perfect day, it's surreal." I said.
"Same for me, I saw you, came to your house, kissed you, talked about you, saw you come out, and held your hand.
We laughed softly.
"Why are we like this?" I said.
"Why are we like what?" she asked. (sorry not sorry for this heartstopper quote ;D - )
"Awkward." I said.
"We're still getting to know each other, that's all." she said.
"I still can't believe I kissed you." I said.
Then I took a moment to think.
"You wanna know something?" I added.
"If I had a crush back in middle school, I would go home and think about them for hours, write in my diary, and then be all delusional, even though they would never know, I'd always think about how maybe we'd be something, but never have the courage to say anything." I continued.
"But with you, I feel like your the one person I can talk to about things, feel loved, and liked, and still not be judged but be realistic and just, me."
"You're like the escapism to my reality, Iris." I said, then ended.
Those words, I've been wanting to say them since I met her on the first day of school, not even 9 months in, and she has made me feel like a brand new person, me.
"You have always been the person I have wanted to be with." Iris said.
"When I had my boyfriend, 11 months ago, he made me feel worthless. I felt depressed, I told my mom about him, and she sent me to therapy. I was just hopeless. But therapy helped a little but my therapist didn't make me feel as if I was loved or cared about, it was just a session that would go into a file and then later in life I would look back on it and see if I improved or not." she added.
"But when I met you, you were so happy, innocent, a friend, we were both new to this school, you showed me your friends, and then you family, now I can call you my girlfriend, i-its just that, my life has changed because of you." "I really, really like you, Elodie Whitlock." she said, then ended.
I hugged her, so fast, so tight, so firm. I don't think she expected it though, haha. But she hugged me back. We hugged for a long moment. She was the person I longed for the most that I never expected it, well for it to be her.
We then got out of our hug, and I look at her straight in the eyes, I grabbed her hands, and held them, my hands and palms and fingers touching hers my hands on the bottom, and hers on the top, holding mine.
I shed a tear and blinked. And then I smiled and softly laughed.
My blonde hair in my face, I didn't notice it, we unlocked our hands and fingers and then she took her right hand and moved my hair out of my face.
"I don't even know what to say right now." I say as my voice is shaky, and I smiled.
"I just want to be with you, El." she said.
"I think we should go to sleep." she added.
"Alright." I said as we walked back to her bedroom, I held her hand, my head on her shoulder.
We got into her bed and we put the sheets on top, the comforter too, and the soft blanket on us.
I scooted towards her, in a position we've been in before.
My head under hers, this time I held her, my legs locked with hers.
"I-I" she said, but I was half asleep then so we didn't move.
Then I fell asleep.
She said something but I was far sleeping by then.
"I love you, Elodie." Iris said.
