Flashback
Four-year-old Saanvi was playing outside her small room, enjoying the warm sunshine and cool breeze. Her curiosity sparked when she saw her brother entering the grand mansion, a place she had always been fascinated by but never allowed to enter. Her mother, Preeti, had always warned her to stay away.
Today, Saanvi's curiosity got the better of her. She decided to follow her brother into the mansion, eager to explore its interiors. Her little crawl struggled to keep up with her brother's pace, and soon she found herself lost in the big mansion corridors.
But as always the fate is against her . As she wandered, Saanvi stumbled upon her grandmother Lakshmi's room. The lavish decor and r atmosphere mesmerized her. Every thing ther speaks - royalty, power and money. Unaware of the danger, Saanvi began playing with a decorative item on a nearby table.
Just as she was about to leave with the item, Lakshmi stormed into the room, her face twisted in anger.
"How dare you enter my room, you little brat?" Lakshmi shouted, her voice echoing off the soundproof walls.
Saanvi's eyes widened as Lakshmi slapped her, leaving an imprint of her fingers on the child's cheek. The toddler's loud wails filled the room.
Lakshmi's fury intensified. She slapped Saanvi again, sending her head crashing to the floor.
"Today, I'll teach you a lesson," Lakshmi hissed, grasping Saanvi's hair. "Your mother's not here to save you, you worthless girl."
Saanvi's cries grew louder as Lakshmi dragged her out of the room, down the hallway. The sound of her wailing attracted the attention of all the people in the mansion.
They gathered in the hallway, shocked by the scene unfolding before them. But Preeti(mother ) and Rajveer( father ) were absent, out shopping for jewelry.
Lakshmi's grip on Saanvi's hair tightened. "You'll never set foot in this mansion again. You're a shame to our family."
Saanvi's tiny body trembled, her eyes pleading for help. But no one dared intervene, cowed by Lakshmi's authority.
As Lakshmi continued her torcher on Saanvi, her cries grew louder ,her small body shaken by sobs.
Lakshmi's face twisted in cruelty as she commanded a servant to bring a bucket of hot water.
Lakshmi's gaze remained icy, unfazed by Saanvi's pleas to leave her . She dipped her hand in the bucket.
Saanvi's cries grew louder as her hand was forcibly submerged into the hot water water.
"It's... paining... please leave!" Saanvi begged.
The room fell silent, except for Saanvi's heart-wrenching sobs. Her brothers stood frozen, their faces pale and horrified. The servants looked on, their eyes filled with pity but dared not intervene their grandmother's.
Lakshmi's expression remained unyielding, her eyes flashing with malice. "You'll learn to obey me," she hissed.
Saanvi's cries intensified, her small hand scalded and red. The air was heavy with tension, the silence punctuated only by Saanvi's anguish.
Lakshmi's grip on Saanvi's arm tightened. "You're nothing but a burden," she spat.
Saanvi's sobs grew hoarse, her body shaking uncontrollably.
Just as it seemed Lakshmi would never relent, a faint voice interrupted the horrific scene.
"Stop!" Preeti's voice echoed through the hallway.
Lakshmi's gaze snapped toward the door, where her daughter-in-law is standing with a scary and gloomy score.
Preeti rushed into the room, her face pale with horror. "Maa ji , ye app ky krrhi hai ( Mother-in-law, what are you doing?)" she demanded, her voice trembling.
Lakshmi's grip on Saanvi's arm relaxed, but her expression remained defiant. "Teaching her a lesson," she replied, her voice dripping with malice.
Preeti's eyes widened as she took in the scene before her. Saanvi's hand was red and blistered, her face contorted in pain.
" Maa ji please usse chod dijiye ( please leave her)". Preeti said .
" Tume pata bhi hai Bahu is manush ne ky galiti krri h . Is behuda ladki ne ya is ghr mein kadam rkha or hamare kamre me jaane ki kosish ( did you even what this jinx girl has tried to done ? This bitch had dared to enter in the manson and in my room)" - laksmi said with anger
" Please jaane de ,woh bacchi h or mein apko vachan deti hu ki ye aaj ke baad iss ghr mein kadam nhi rkhe gi ( please leave her she is small child and I promised you that she will never come in this house again )" - Preeti said with a chocking voice
As they left the room, Preeti's gaze locked onto Saanvi's hand . "How could she ?" she whispered, her voice heavy with emotion.
Lakshmi's turned back , her expression turned cold as she saig - "She needs discipline,". And left from there without turning back .
Preeti's eyes flashed with anger. "Not like this," she said, her voice firm. "Never like this."
Saanvi's sobs grew quieter as Preeti cradled her close, her hand gently stroking her daughter's hair. She moved her back and forth.
"I'm here, baby," Preeti whispered reassuring her daughter that she is with her . "I won't let anyone hurt you again."
For the shake of God from morning she hasn't meet Saanvi otherwise her mother-in-law would not have let her meet her daughter.
Preeti took her back to her house and applied the cream in her hand , Preeti's thoughts turned to the daunting task ahead. How could she protect Saanvi from Lakshmi's cruelty?
What her daughter had done to suffered from all this ?
