Abhimanyu POV:
It's been an eternity since I last truly saw my sister, really looked at her, or had a meaningful conversation with her. Ten long years have passed since I've spoken to her without yelling or simply holding her close like a brother do to her sister.
The memory of the first time I hold her in my arms still is fresh in my mind . She was a tiny, delicate thing, weighing almost nothing . She has small leg and a limp her small hands when touch my face .Her chubby cheeks and big, doe-like eyes made her the most adorable creature in the world. Her face radiated innocence and childlike wonder.
But yesterday, at the party, when I caught a glimpse of her, and my heart skipped a beat. And I realised the little toddler who once crawled into my arms for comfort, the small girl who constantly demands our love and attention, was gone. She has start loosing her childhood features and is turning into a beautiful girl with many responsibilities.
Her eyes, once shining bright with excitement, now seemed empty .The sparkle had dimmed, and it broke my heart. Her slender frame looked almost fragile, a far from the chubby-cheeked I once knew.
When yesterday, I noticed the boys staring at her, their eyes fixed on her like magnets. A surge of protectiveness coursed through my veins, and I felt an overwhelming urge to shield her from the world. I wanted to chase away those admiring glances, to keep her safe from the world's prying eyes. But I know I couldn't do that cause I already fail as a brother.
How could my little sister have grown up so fast? When did she transform from a carefree child to a big mature girl than her agr ? The realization hit me like a ton of bricks, leaving me feeling guilty and just guilty.
As I stepped out of the mansion because of some work , I noticed a figure lying motionless at the outer entrance. The bodyguards stood idly by, their expressions stoic. I felt a surge of unease; something didn't add up. Outsiders weren't allowed on the premises, and if it were a family member, the guards wouldn't be standing by like that.
I motion one of the guards by my finger he seems new , to approach me. "Who is that person?" I demanded.
"Sir, it's the limp girl from the outer house," he replied hesitantly.
My anger flared. "What's she doing here? And why didn't anyone help her?"
The guard's voice trembled. "Big Ma'am ordered her thrown out last night, sir. She told not to let her inside."
Rage coursed through my veins as I leapt from the car and rushed toward the figure. It was Saanu, my sister, lying unconscious, her hands and clothes stained with blood. Her body shivering in cold. I pull her in my arms and wrapped my blazer at her body and put her on my front seat clutching seat belt . Her condition look miserable while her nimb leg is bleeding as I noticed.
I summoned a guard and demanded answers. "What happened? "
Fury boiled within me as I heard the guard.That bloody old women fucking put her hands on my sister. What she think of us ? Now I already got some proofs against that old witch and her daughter and will fucking stop their drama and will give my sister all the love she deserves.
Saanu deserved love and protection, not brutality we giving her from years. I'll ensure now she receives the care she deserves.
I hurriedly take her to the hospital. It didn't take much time as it is owned by us only. Their the doctor admitted her and after few time he come out and said that she no well and have get injury on her hand and leg and nothing else .
I take breathe of releive and then wait there till she gain consciousness. It take an hour for her to regain her normal self back .
As she flutter her eyes open and sit on the bed I quickly move towards her and hugged her close to my heart .
At first she flinch back and then get normal . She hugged me and put her head on my chest . I slowly carecass her hairs and after sometime she fully regain her sight and when she noticed she get back and said while Stammering like she is afraid - " wh..what are you doing?"
I feel a pang in my heart seeing her innocent eyes filled with fear but I maintain my composure and said -
" Baccha (child) pls don't be afraid . I just found you fainted and take you here"
" Thank you sir for youe help but now please let me go "
" Where are you going ? Doctor ask you to rest ."
" I have to go otherwise I will be late for work pls move away from here and where is prosthetic "
" What you work ? Why and where ?"
" Your family didn't pay me for anything. I myself have to take care of my expense and fees so If won't work how will I earn money to live . I don't want to die soon because of hunger or anything else"
" What ?"
For a moment I get shocked. She lives on her own and do job to live at such a young age.
Now I let her go cause it would not be good for her and call my man to fetch every detail of her .
From there I forcefully leave her at mansion and go away from there.
Today I will show those 2 fuckers ( grandmother and bua ) their lane and hope everyone realise their mistake.
As I complete my work I got a call and have to go to US for a month or two . I urgently go from my office only as I always have two suitcase packed because of such things .
After I return I will show the reality to my family.
But he didn't knew that something big will happen then he never even have thought in his life .
As it's a proverb - we should say what in our hear and mind at that time only and not to wait cause it sometimes results in our heartbreak only .
It's true for love as well others things too.
