Hello, this is my first time I have written a fan-fiction in a language other than my own. I hope that what I have written will be understandable to you, so I apologise in advance for any mistakes I have made or will make in sentences and between sentences.

The story will start from after his transfer and his first day at Wellston. I didn't plan If there will be any time skip at the moment but we'll see.

So, in this fan-fiction, John has a cousin. It doesn't hurt to give you this "spoiler," so, yes, he's Cameron's son. He will be somewhat important to the plot of this story. Yes, he has an "Aura-related" ability. All I can say that, his ability will be explained in the story.

There will be new characters added exclusive to this story but again, for the time being, the main focus will be at Wellston. (I just like to add my own characters while writing a fan fiction LOL)

So I hope you enjoy!

John was grateful for the help he should have had before joining Wellston. Because when he looked back, the more he thought about his aggressive self, the more he regretted it.

Don't look back. Look forward.

He sighed. Easier said than done, dad, he thought.

With the help of his father and... his cousin, he was better than before, even if that green-haired snake and what it said occasionally flashed through his mind, even if poor Adrion's bloody face occasionally flashed through his mind. He was still undecided about his ability. He was afraid that if he used it he would lose himself, that was the last thing he wanted. His cousin kept telling him not to worry.

Let's talk a little about him. His cousin had half black and half white hair, had brown eyes and was three years older than John. He was a bit taller than John and was quite friendly. When he dropped John off at his house in Wellston, he stayed with him until the school started. To tell the truth, as much as John loved his cousin, he found him strange. When he wasn't talking to him, he'd find him frowning, talking on the phone, sometimes lost in thought. As far as John knew, his cousin Joshua had dropped out of school for some reason. He didn't even know if he had a job. In fact, apart from Joshua, he was irrelevant to the rest of his mother's family, because why should he care about his mother's family if he didn't care about his mother? Joshua and his father were enough.

John once asked him what he's doing for a living if he had dropped out of school. Joshua, as John expected, didn't give a clear answer.

"Big day tomorrow, my silly cousin. It's your first day at Wellston Private High School. Are you excited?" Joshua asked. John parted his lips to answer, but he wasn't sure what to say. He had worked so hard to get here. Maybe... maybe this was a school that only cared about academic results? John couldn't be sure. Ever since he had decided to use his ability as a last resort, the question had been going round and round in his head.

Monster.

John couldn't help but flinch. He didn't want the green-haired snake to be in the right. He didn't want to be called a monster. He'd used his ability against dummies a few times after those... classes. But against humans it was different. Could he get through the day without seriously hurting anyone? If he could get through the first day, the rest wouldn't matter. His ability was unique. And when his level was heard... John felt under pressure. It had been the same in New Bostin. The pressure of being a "King" had overwhelmed him. Maybe... Wellston's "King" was more powerful than he was, he'd be a "Jack" at best... and even that was bad.
