It was his second day, and John already wanted to go home and sleep all day. This was just his second day. At least, walking to school helped him. As getting closer to the building, he wondered what kind of mess he's going to got himself into today.
He was excited for one thing, though. The Triple Chocolate Cake. No matter what, he needed to get his hands on it. Just thinking about it made up for all the things he's going to get himself into. He thought about finding some speed-type ability just to get to the cafeteria earlier.
Luckily, he didn't bump into anyone this time. John took that as a good sign. He believed nothing's going to happen today.
"I heard he sent more than two people to the infirmary. " John nearly rolled his eyes. There they go. As If yesterday wasn't enough. Were people that oblivious to that they aren't as silent as they thought? John ignored them and walked the stairs.
On the second floor, students were gossiping about something and someone else.
"Did you hear? Wellston challenged some school. They are going to Turf Wars location tomorrow."
"Yep, and with Seraphina on our side, we sure aren't going to lose this one too."
"Yeah."
Her again. Everyone's been talking about her too high and too much. Is she the Queen of Wellston? How is she handling all of... all of this... pressure?
He pushed New Bostin memoirs. He didn't want to remember... those times. He didn't want to... go back to that cell which he stayed there for one and a half month. He couldn't push Keon's voice to back of his minds. "My name is Keon, your instructor for one and a half months. Normally, these classes takes three months but you will be here half of that time, for some reason. Don't be relaxed. To make up for the lost time and for much and much more, we decided to extend the duration of the lessons six times longer than usual."
John held his tears. He was still feeling tired because of... him. But he didn't feel angry towards him. Because John knew that... Those classes fixed him.
Blyke turned his attention to him when he heard John entered the classroom. He nudged Isen with his elbow. Isen looked at John before he turned his gaze away. Blyke watched him sit his desk. He looks kinda tired. Blyke whispered Isen. "You remember what we talked, right?"
"Yea yea dude," he whispered back. "I'm not stupid." Blyke narrowed his eyes at him.
"All right, then. Follow me."
"Why am I coming along with you too?"
"If he decides to attack, I'm going to throw you at him so you'll be the first victim."
"Psh, asshole. Like I'll allow you."
Blyke ignored him. He tried to take a look at what Seraphina was doing while walking. But all he saw were lines and scribbles. He walked past her and approached John. Blyke became nervous when they mate gaze. He coughed into his fist and spoke.
"Uhm, morning, John," he started. John's look didn't include any sign of hostility so Blyke found the courage to go on. "I wanted to say I'm sorry about how I act towards you yesterday. I was-"
"No need to apologise. It was my fault for not watching where I was going."
Blyke clenched his fists. He was still a bit mad this morning but now he really felt about how he acted. "Still, I want to apologise. Uhh," Isen was unimpressed about how Blyke really isn't a social guy. He wondered how the hell did they become friends to begin with? "How about grabbing drinks after school? Remi will come too, and Isen," he pointed to Isen, "...will tag along." When Blyke and Isen met gazes, Blyke saw Isen was looking at him too bored. So Blyke frowned and flicked him in the forehead. Get your shit together, asshole! We're trying to make an impression here!
