"Morning sleepy head," Rio calls to her son as he sits in his pyjamas at the kitchen isle.
"You mister, are going to be late for school. Quick, quick, eat your breakfast and get changed. It's already 7:30." Agatha says flicking her wrist to check the time.

"Mama, I'm feeling ill. Do I have to go in today?" Nicky questions.
"We-" Agatha starts but Rio cuts her off.
"Don't let him, he has a test today. He's just nervous." Rio says waving the spatula from the pancakes she's mixing in the air.
Nicky rolls his eyes huffing.
"Mom you always have to ruin things. Why would you tell her."
"Hey! Don't talk to your Mother like that." Agatha scolds and Nick puts his hands up in the air in surrender.

Rio goes back to flipping her pancakes and Nicky to eating his cereal. Agatha strolls upstairs.

A little while later she is joined by Rio.
"Hey you."
"Hey." "I'm worried." Agatha states. Rio gives her a puzzled look and slouches on the bed beside her.
"I'm worried about Nicky. Lately he's been asking more and more to stay of school. I'm worried he's getting bullied or something." "I don't know I'm probably overthinking it."
Rio runs her hand down her back soothingly. "I don't know. He seems like a pretty happy kid to me. He's just a sixteen year old boy, they don't tend to enjoy going to school." She laughs lightly.
"You're right."
"But we'll keep an eye on him." Rio reassures, taking Agatha's head between her hands, gently kissing her forehead.
"Come on let's go downstairs." Rio whispers to Agatha.

"Okay, I'm gonna head off. Me and my friends were gonna squeeze in a quick study for the test this morning."
"Okay hun I'm surprised you're on time, bearing in mind you woke up half an hour late!" Agatha jokes to him. "No I'm only joking, I'm very proud of you Nicky and the way you're growing up."
As he gives his mom a smile and goes to leave the room Agatha stops him and wraps her arms around him giving him a tight hug.
"Umm mama, I'm 16 y'know?" Hiss muffled voice sounds from his Mum's arms.
"My baby is never too old to have a hug!" She growls jokingly as Agatha releases him.
"Bye!" Nicky calls after making a swift get away.

Rio pours out her tea that she has just made and wraps her hands around them warming them up.
She watches Agatha longingly as Agatha chews at her nails, her eyes trained on the floor.
Rio places her mug down and sidles up to Agatha, wraping her arms around her wife, gently pulling her hands away from her mouth. She brings Agatha's arms behind her back and holds them there in one of her hands, working the other up the side of her neck to her face. Agatha releases a slow sigh, inviting Rio to slide her fingers into her mouth, pulling her head back.
"It's too early for this." Agatha wines but still her eyes snap closed.
"Is it my love? The expression on your face says otherwise." Rio whispers in her ear, sliding her lips down the side of her face. Rio kisses and sucks at the side of Agatha's neck being careful to not leave any marks.

"You're stressed today aren't you my love."
Agatha answers with a nod and a sigh as Rio starts gently massaging her shoulders.
"I'll be gentle with you baby don't worry."
Rio pushes Agatha to the kitchen counter where she orders her to sit. Obligingly she sits there, her legs dangling from the side. Rio kisses her gently and reassuringly, working her hands through Agatha's hair. She slides her hand down her shoulders and slips them under her shirt, pulling her top off and throwing it to the side. Rio takes a step back admiring Agatha's body.
"God you are beautiful." She says breathily. "The things I'm going to do to you."
Rio pulls Agatha's body closer to her, carefully exploring every inch with her hands while placing gentle, loving kisses along her shoulder bone.

They both stop dead at the sound of a click of keys in the door.
"Hey, I just left my..." Nicholas says opening the door to the kitchen. Agatha and Rio scrabble for her shirt and Rio blocks the view of Agatha with her body.
"Oh my God." Is all Nick managed to squeak out before retreating back into the hallway.
"Honey, sorry. It's um. What do you need?" Agatha calls after him sheepishly after finally locating her T-shirt.
"Just my Spanish homework, it's right there on the counter." He says, the embarrassment in his voice evident.

Rio snatches it up and brings it to him. She can't help but giggle as she hands it to him.
"Sorry," she mouths.
"Okay then well I'm going to go as quick as I can now, so bye see you later."
"Te veo." Rio responds, playing on the Spanish theme.
Nicky just responds with a confused look. Rio rolls her eyes.
"Oh come on Nicky, clearly that Spanish homework hasn't taught you much!" She jokes. Nick shakes his head and chuckles, hurrying himself out the door with a quick 'bye'.

Rio creeps back into the room shaking her head giggling.
"Oh my God!" She says. "I mean I've been walked in on plenty of times. But by my own son!?"
"Mortifying." Agatha responds, running her hand down the side of her face, a pensive look on her face as if trying to process the shame of what just happened. They both spend a while laughing about it trying to take away the embarrassment.
"Well I think that could signify the last time we do it in the kitchen." Agatha points still giggling.
"Well, you know, maybe for a little while." Rio responds with a deadpan shrug.
