Akira wiped the sweat from her brow as she stood over the latest creation resting on her workbench. Another perfectly crafted blade, sleek, balanced, and shimmering with chakra-infused power. Her forge had been busy for days now, as she continued to refine her weapons, preparing to open her business and make a name for herself.
The rhythmic clang of the hammer against metal had become a steady companion over the past week, but today, it felt more exhausting than usual. The heat of the forge, the hours of concentrated effort, and the constant flow of chakra into her creations had taken their toll. Akira set down her tools and stepped back, surveying the weapons she had completed.
The small armory of chakra-infused blades and tools glinted in the sunlight streaming through her workshop. The sight filled her with pride, but also a sense of restlessness.
"Time for a break," Akira muttered to herself, wiping her hands on a cloth.
She gathered her tools and cleaned up the space. Before leaving, she decided to prepare something to eat later. Her power of Creation extended to food as well, and it was a skill she'd been eager to use outside the forge. Focusing her chakra, she quickly formed a few simple but hearty meals, rice balls, grilled fish, and some energy-packed food infused with chakra for stamina and recovery. Satisfied with her preparations, she wrapped them up and stored them in a small cloth bag.
With her lunch packed, Akira stepped out of the forge and into the fresh air of Konoha. The village bustled with activity as usual, and as she walked through the streets, she let her mind wander. She'd been so focused on her work lately that she hadn't taken the time to fully explore the village since her arrival. Now, with the sun shining and the weight of her hammer momentarily off her shoulders, it felt like the perfect time to stroll around and enjoy the sights.
Akira's wanderings eventually led her to the training grounds. The sound of clashing metal and grunts of effort drew her attention, and curiosity tugged at her. She walked closer, peering through the trees, and spotted a group of young shinobi training together.
To her surprise, she recognized one of them immediately, Naruto Uzumaki, the boisterous, loudmouthed ninja whose reputation was well-known throughout the village. Alongside him were his teammates, Sakura Haruno and Sasuke Uchiha, and a few other familiar faces she'd seen around the village. Kiba, Shikamaru, Choji, and Hinata were all there, sparring, practicing jutsu, and working on their teamwork.
Naruto, as usual, was full of energy, shouting encouragements, or complaints, depending on how his training was going. However, something seemed a little off today. As she watched, Akira noticed that their movements were slower than usual, their attacks less precise. They were all panting heavily, their faces flushed with exhaustion.
They're low on chakra, Akira realized.
Naruto's group had been training hard for hours, and it was clear that they'd pushed themselves to their limits. Now, their bodies were depleted of chakra, and they didn't seem to have the energy to continue. Even Naruto, normally a ball of unrelenting energy, was staggering as he threw his kunai, missing the target completely.
Sakura groaned, rubbing her temples. "Naruto, we're going to collapse if we keep going like this."
Sasuke wiped the sweat from his brow but remained silent, though it was clear even he was nearing his limit.
Choji's stomach rumbled loudly, and he slumped onto the ground, his eyes glazed over. "I can't keep going without food..."
Kiba let out a tired laugh, leaning on Akamaru. "Yeah, no kidding. We're running on fumes here."
