After my date with Atlas, it just seems so much casual and easier, anyways after my date with him, we became closer. I still can’t understand the sudden connection I have with him, it’s so new and weird to me, I mean you can only have feelings for someone who you’ve known for quite sometime right? I think he’s into voodoo or something and I don’t want to have anything to do with him but I just find myself falling more and more for him. Maybe it’s his breathtaking features or maybe it’s his perfect voice.
“Basically what I’m saying is giving us a test just two days before the main exam is super pointless.’’ Lexi complained while we were studying for our biology test, apparently Professor Charles thought it was a brilliant idea to give us a test two days before our biology exams, he says it’ll prepare us, more for the exams.
“Yeah…..well we have to do it if not we’d lose our 10 marks’’ I replied
“Yeah, whatev-’’ Lexi was interrupted by the ringing of my phone.
“Oohhhhh…..is it your boyfrienddddd?’’ Lexi teased
“He is not my boyfriend’’ I replied knowing she was fully well talking about Liam who was indeed the caller. I stand up and walk out of the room to where I can get some privacy from my crazed-fan-girl of a bestie.
“Hey’’ I say
“Hi, how are u doing’’
“I’m good you?’’
“Fine…….sorry, hope I’m not disturbing anything too important’’
“No, not really, I was just studying for a test with Lexi’’
“Oh sorry for bothering……I just wanted to ask if you were free to have dinner with me tonight’’’
“Uhm no problem and sure I’m free’’
“Okay….so I’ll pick you up at 7?’’
“Okay I’ll be ready’’
“Cool….okay bye’’
“Okay….bye’’ I say and end the call, I can’t help but squeal, there’s something so special about this guy. I let out a breath after squealing and try walking back into the room with as much composure as I can contain right now.
“Well that was quick….what’d you guys talk about?’’ Lexi asks
“Nothing to serious, he just asked me for dinner tonight, that’s all’’ I say casually as if it didn’t mean such a big deal to me.
“Nothing much?’’ she asked in a tone that said ‘are you crazy?’
“Ells this is practically another date…..two dates already? He’s so whipped’’
“It’s just dinner’’
“Yeah, just’’ she said and rolled her eyes
“Come on, this is half past five, let’s go get you ready’’ she said as she stood up
“Uhm but we have to study……I can get prepared like quarter to seven’’’
“Girl you are crazy…..we both know you’re more than ready for this test, and I want to specially get you ready for tonight, so get up let’s get you prepared’’ she said tugging on my arm for me to get up.
“Fine’’ I say getting up and letting out a sigh cos I know there’s no winning this.

Two hours later I’m wearing a purple dress with black sequins which goes down just slightly above my knee that I got from a Chanel store one time I went to the mall, with black socks and white converse with purple stripes. I actually look good no scratch that, I look great. I’m also wearing a butterfly chain and drop earrings to compliment the dress and my hair is put neatly into a bun, seated in Atlas’ car on our way to dinner. I gotta say Lexi knows her style.
“Sorry about that, my brother tends to be a little over protective sometimes’’ I apologised for the awkwardness he faced when he came to pick me up.
Before we could make it out the door, he ran into Damian -not literally tho- and let’s just say it did not go smooth, he kept interrogating Atlas and even threatened him if I wasn’t home by 10. Needless to say, it was very frustrating.
Ever since we started college Damian developed took a liking to this protective side, I mean he always did when we were little but this is just a whole new level. Not that I’m complaining, but there’s only so much a girl can handle. I guess he took it on himself as an elder brother role since we were now in a-not-so-familiar environment. I actually appreciated it as first because heck I wasn’t intimidating, in fact if anything I was intimidated, but now it’s just so frustrating.
“No problem, I understand he’s just being a caring brother’’ he replied which caused a small smile to grow on my lips and so the rest of the ride was silent with me anticipating where we were headed.

Hi guys, so this is actually a filler chapter, you would've probably noticed from the chapter title, sorry 😂😂.
I just really needed to post something since I haven't posted for a while, don't worry I'm currently working on the next chapter and I'm not going Awol anytime soon.
I've just been preparing for Uni and now I'm done with the exam just waiting for results.
