"Ugh..." Lexi groaned as she became tired of rummaging through her wardrobe.
"Lexi.....you have like an entire boutique of clothes in your closet and you can't find a single one to wear?"
I asked her looking up from my phone.
"Annelle need I remind you that this is no just no ordinary date....this is THE date with Jacob"
"Okay whatever... I'm going to the kitchen to get something to eat" I said as I started making my way out of the room
"Get something light for me too okay?" she said as she gave me her failed attempt of a puppy dog eyes.
"okay"
Well I guess I better introduce myself. I'm Annelle and I live with my parents and siblings in Canada. I have a twin brother Damian and my younger sister Chanel. Lexi is my best friend, actually I have two best friends Lexi and Christine and we are really close. Lexi and I have been best friends since we were 5 and then in middle school Christine joined the picture. Currently Lexi, Damian and I study in the same university. University of Ottawa which is in the Eastern Canada while Christine attends University of Toronto which is way up in the south.
Lexi, Damian and I actually rented an apartment together outside of campus, don't ask me why because well it just gives a little bit more sense of freedom. Lexi is currently preparing for her date with Jacob Walters, you guessed it right the guy she's had an eternity crush on. He actually didn't even spare her so much as a single glance that is not until she tripped and tumbled down the hall where we were having lectures in. She was ogling at Jacob while she walked down and well you know the rest.
She almost bit my head off when I said it was quite unfortunate how he noticed her because and I quote " the universe totally wanted us to be together.... Just a little push to kick-start a romantic relationship".
I walk into the kitchen and decide to make us a sandwich with sodas. Halfway into making the sandwich Lexi walks into kitchen wearing a black jeans with white not so baggy shirt and black canverse. Her hair is flowing free and I noticed she put on make up...... dang did I spend that much time in here?.........
"what do you think? I decided not to get overdressed and go with something simple" she asked
"you look great..... Jacob's definitely not going to keep his eyes off of you"
"thanks....so are those sandwiches ready"
"um... yeah this one's ready" I say as I hand it over to her
She eats it quickly and gets on her way after saying a 'bye' and 'wish me luck'.
I take my sandwich and soda up to our room. Damian has basketball practice so I'm left alone at home. I just lay in bed watching a movie and eating my snack. Halfway into the movie I finish my snack..... A little later I drift off into sleep....

There we go guys the first chapter.
I just wanted to introduce Annelle a bit to you guys....... as we get more into the story you'd get to know her more.....
