Unexpected reunion

Chapter 5

The past two months have flown by and I'm now 20 weeks pregnant and showing.
I have gone from dancing and earn as much money as possible.
Routine visits to the midwife.
While studying diligently in college, even passing my exams.
I had to go baby shopping too.
We really must go to that baby store over there. Stated Joe.
Yes, I believe it is the store where the tiny baby dinosaur outfit I mentioned earlier was in. Having stated that Dad and Papa take off running. My dads are way more excited than I am, Mason is observing my every move as I labour behind the bar once more driving me crazy.

It came out that Caiden's parents had moved a few weeks ago before I got to visit them and wrote a letter to him I also tried to call and message also looked on social media but it seems he may have changed his number and not on social media anymore.

I should be finding out today what gender are the babies.
I walk up to the front desk and check myself in.
Dad, papa, Mason, and I are all here for my scan today.
Other pregnant women are seated nearby in the waiting area. Some ladies converse with other women, while some are speaking with their significant others.
Kelsey carter? Is being shouted into the room.
That me, now it's time to go see the physician.
I recognise the doctor's presence as I head into the room. "Hello, Kelsey how are you?"
I'm doing fine, thanks, Dr. Pret.
Oh, I see we have someone new with you today. Are you dad?"
Mason looked embarrassed and red in the
face. I'm not Unfortunately, he responded,

Alright, Kelsey, lay on your back. Lift up your top, and I'll apply the gel to your tummy.
"Is everything okay? Kelsey asked. Yes," to which the other doctor responds, "My goodness, you can actually see the babies have little legs and hands." Mason stated that they resemble a baby in shape but with an alien head and eyes fixed on the screen.
Mason came to my checkup since they suggested that I do a gender reveal and a baby shower.
Mason's smile is visible to me. His eyes are beginning to wet, and I can see a tiny tear rolling down his cheek.
Look, my grandbabies.
Dad, please don't start crying again.
And then there is laughter from everybody.

The doctor said, "Would you like to know the gender?"

Yes, both Dad and Papa shouted at the same time.

Mason replied, "I thought we had decided to have a gender reveal."
I'll record them and place them in an envelope for you. Who do you trust to handle this, Kelsey? The doctor replied.
Masonry I answered, and everyone in the room chuckled. Alright, I'll print off some pictures of you, write them down, and place them in an envelope.
The doctor leaves the room.
Kelsey They are so precious won't be long now and they will be here. Mason says

We had the baby shower at Mason's club. Yeah I know go ahead and judge.
But it's not like the club was open and it was a Saturday afternoon. The club didn't open tell 7:30 pm and we would be long gone by then. It was going to be just a few people my dad and papa, Sasha and Little West, a few people I worked at the club with and some friends from uni.
Mason had set up the VIP area with balloons and banners stating the twins' congratulations as soon as we entered the club. A table laden with food and two-tier cakes. He even unlocked the VIP section bar. The amount of work he and Sasha had put into revamping the space astounded me.
We were sure to inform the other people who worked at the club not to mention to my dad's that I had danced, even though they were aware that I worked at Kittens.

It appears that everyone is enjoying themselves, mingling, sipping afternoon beverages, and stuffing their cheeks with food.
Speech, speech, speech Sasha chants.
I stepped up in front of everyone and winged it since I didn't know what to say.

First of all, I would like to express my gratitude to Mason and Sasha for everything they have done for me today. They will both make the best uncle and aunt to those babies. I also want to express my gratitude to my dad's for the last 20 years as well as the past few months. I also want to thank everyone for the cards and gifts I received today.
