After what feels like hours but was probably only an hour doctor Pret comes back in. Ok Kelsey let's have a look. Men would you leave again just for a minute. The guys leave the room and the doctor checks. Looks like this are moving forward fast Kelsey. 4cm now won't be long. Who would you like with you? All of a sudden the door burst's open. I'm here I

Bending over trying to catch her breath is no other then Sasha. About time I scolded her.
So I guess this is your birthing partner? The doctor asks. Yep that's me Sasha beams with a smile. Ok Sasha tell the others to wait in the waiting room. And let's deliver those twins the doctor told her.  Umm can I have something more for the pain like the epidural please I beg you. I plead. There's no time Kelsey they are not waiting. Sasha comes back into the room and I cry at how painful it is. I guess the gas and air is now my best friend and suck as much as I can get. Ok Kelsey when you feel like it push. Sasha holds my hand encouraging me you can do it kels. I feel the push so I push. Fuck I've never felt pain like it. This gas and air is now shit it's not doing anything but I keep sucking on it either way. Ok Kelsey push.
I can't I say it's to painful and carry on sucking the pip I'm holding. Kelsey I'm going to take this away now because you need to concentrate. Nooooo not my gas and air I shout. Too late she turns the bottle off. Bitch i thin to myself. Ok Kelsey now push. Fuck i actually screamed the whole hospital down I felt myself rip In two. Burning and pain that's all I feel. The heads out Kelsey one more push. So I give a big push and then I hear it. A cry. It's your baby boy doctor Pret says handing him over to the nurse. Where is she taking him I panicked. The nurse is going to check him over and will bring him over in a minute now Kelsey we still have one more baby to go. I feel the need to push yet again. This time it's like the baby slides out. I hear a cry and relax. It's your baby girl doctor Pret says. Handing the baby over to the nurse once again.
After a few minutes the nurse walks over with my baby boy and places him in my arms on my left side then walks back picks up my baby girl and walks over and places her on my right.
I have tears running down my cheeks. They are perfect. The doctor and nurse leave us and said the nurse will be back to check on us shortly.

Does aunt Sasha want to hold one of them I ask. Sasha squills with delight. She picks up the baby girl in my arms.
As she is cooing at the baby papa , dad and mason walk in.
Look who it is I say it's granddad and grandpa and uncle mason i say smiling

Who has what, baby Mason asks, laughing.

Dad says, "I don't care, give me," and extends his arms.

I pass him my baby boy. That's the boy I say placing him in his arms. Sasha places my baby girl into papas arms. Seeing my dad and papa smiling so proudly down at the babies I catch my dad with tears yet again. Laughing at him I ask why is he crying. They are so precious he replies.

What are their names, then? Adds Sasha.

Even though Kayden won't be in their life, I've been thinking, and I know what you all are going to say, but I do believe that they should have a piece of him.

I have so chosen to call my son Kayden Giovanni mason Carter.
I glanced at my father, who now had a tear in his eye.
I glance at my dad, who is currently trading babies with me. Putting on a proud expression, Papa adds, "You're giving him my name?
I look over to mason who looks like he wants to cry.

Me you're going to give him also my name he asks stunned.  Yes you all mean so much to me and I know you will all mean so much to my babies too.

For my baby girl I've decided to call her Riley Joe Sasha carter.
My dad burst into tears and so does Sasha.
I hope they are all happy tears I laugh.

So you have given each child names to do with kayden? Sasha says while wiping her tears away.

Yep his name is kayden Riley Johnson so the least I can do is call them after him.
After all he did help make them even if he doesn't know I say with a sad smile.

Do you want to hold Kayden? Papa asks mason. He does hold your name too now you know. Uncle mason he said laughing. As I look at mason rocking the little bundle of joy in his arms i can't help but think to myself he would have made a fantastic father.

I'm starting to feel sleepy and mason and my dad lay the babies in their cots. I didn't have my hospital bag I say just remembering. Don't worry Sasha can you stay with Kelsey il run Joe and g home and grab Kelsey's bag with all the babies bits in and il be back. Plus Kelsey you look knackered and after all you've been through I think you deserve a sleep mason suggested.  That would be great papa and dad say at the same time. They both take turns in kissing both babies and myself before heading out.

I walk back into the room, its late at nightnow so I  sat in the chair and hears Riley starting to squirm and stir I head over to pick her up hey let's not wake up your mum or brother i walk outside into the hall with the what I assume is a hungry Riley and ask the nurse to bring a bottle and make my way back to the chair
As I gently rocks her in my arms.

A soft knock at the door brought me back to the present. The nurse, Rachel, entered with a gentle smile, cradling Riley's bottle. She noticed my look of trepidation and moved closer, the bottle warm and comforting in her as she walked closer her gaze was on me with a k owning look and smile.
everything's so new and fragile." I say looking at baby Riley laying in my arms.
It's natural to feel that way," she said, placing a reassuring hand on my shoulder. "But you're doing great. You're going to be an amazing dad."

"Let me show you how to do it," she offered. Rachel's confidence was infectious as she explains how to hold the baby in the crook of one arm and demonstrated the proper way to hold the bottle, ensuring the milk flowed but didn't overwhelm Riley's tiny mouth.

Nurse Rachel hovered nearby, offering me words of encouragement and advice as needed. The room was bathed in a soft glow from the nightlight, and the only sounds were the gentle slurps of milk and Riley's occasional contented sighs. The tension in my shoulders began to ease as the rhythm of feeding lulled us both into a state of quiet tranquility.
Is that nice baby girl, I say looking lovingly at baby Riley.
After a few moments, nurse Rachel spoke again, her voice a soft murmur that wouldn't disturb the sleeping Kelsey or baby caiden.  "When she's had enough, you'll need to burp her. It's like you're patting her back, but with a gentle touch."

She demonstrated the technique, and I watched closely, I want to learn everythingi can. "You want to keep her upright, so the air bubbles can come up without causing any discomfort."
Riley's eyes remained closed as I tried the burping technique, her mouth forming a cute little 'O' with each pat. After a few seconds, she released a burp that echoed through the room. I  chuckled, "Good job, dad You're a natural." The baby's cheeks turned pink with satisfaction, and she began to drift back to sleep.
No you know what to do when the other baby wakes, she says as she makes her way out the door.
I get up and put the sleeping Riley back into her cot. And walks over to the bed to check on Kelsey she looks so peaceful sleeping. My eyes roamed, taking in
Her  facial features. God she looked so beautiful
Her long blonde hair fane out on top of the pillow as she lays on her back. Her thick black long eyelashes seem to brush her cheeks as they lay closed.
Her soft lips and warm cheeks made me want to kiss her so badly. For someone that gave birth to twins only a few hours ago she is stunning.
She had became a milf I laugh to myself.

Looking over at the armchair I gaze at masons sleeping figure arms draped over the armrest and his head resting against his shoulder  the blanket no longer covered him most of its on the floor.
Sliding out of bed and tip toe over to the cots and check on my baby's both are still sound asleep
I make my way over to mason picking up the blanket and gently place over the top of him.
I turn my attention to his face. He sure is handsome.
His eyelashes are long this little goatee is growing a little more as he hasn't groomed for a while.
I barely register that I have lifted my hand and I'm tracing his features of his handsome face until his eyes flutter open and stare into my own.
Pulling my hand away as quickly as I can and my eyes widen slightly.
What the fuck am I doing clearly I'm not thinking properly.
Baby brain. Yep that's what it is fucking baby brain.
I'm so sorry I say looking into his eyes again.

Mason doesn't say anything.
He grabs and tugs my arm gently pulling me down to sit on his lap wrapping his strong arms around me and throwing the blanket round us.
When did he even move the blanket I wonder.
He still didn't say a word.
I never thought I would be so comfortable being in this position. But the longer I lay my head on his shoulder the more I feel more relaxed.
I find comfort as mason runs his fingers through my hair. I close my eyes and find myself drifting off to sleep again.
Tell I hear the cry's of a baby. My baby.
