🎶Someday by Sonny Fondera🎶The grand open of Tropical Nightclub didn't disappoint.
It's massive yet has a really smooth vibe atmosphere. As we walk in the music drones the treble and base in our ears. We are led to the third floor where it's a less packed. It looked to be some kind of VIP area. The music is still loud and the dancefloor is still packed though.
I am walking side by side with Ivy as we walk in. I glance at her and she smirks looking around her. I do the same and realise that we are getting a bit of attention walking. Olivia is well known in these kinds of circles but I am surprised to see after her they move to Ivy and I with sparks of interest that aren't exactly just curious ones.
We look good, I'm not going to beat around the bush. Olivia actually bought me a new dress, heels and coat for the occasion. My blank dress clings to my body like a second skin. It has long sleeves with a plunging neckline and the hem stops mid thigh. My high heels are killer- gold to match my bag and jewellery. My hair is down and falls down my back in thick, strategically placed waves. The confidence I feel in a dress like this is second to none. My hips sway just a tiny bit more than usual as a result.
I love going out with my friends like this where no one knows me, I feel free.
As we make our way through Olivia is chatting to people as we pass. George and Ron who were in front of us make a beeline for the bar.
Ivy and I pause for a minute considering following Olivia but we are interrupted by a shrill voice. "Ally! Oh my god you came!" Rachel strides up to us flanked by two men who look maybe Italian in descent. They are tall, tanned and have dark features.
Rachel looks fucking hot, not up to Blake level hot but she looks pretty hot. She's wearing tailored pants with a bralet and blazer. Her shoulder length blond hair is slicked back. She gracefully strides over to me with a big grin while gracefully balancing on heels that make her legs look deliciously long.
She wasn't Blake, but she was certainly my type.
Rachel doesn't seem like the type to get attached and she reminds me of Blake for some reason for some reason even if they don't look alike. Rachel could be the perfect way to get over my embarrassing Blake obsession once and for all.
"Hi Rachel, it's nice to see you again" I say with a grin.
She pulled me in for a tight hug that I returned. When she pulled back she grabbed my arm. "C'mon come sit with us! Olivia is already up there with us".
Rachel pulls me down beside her on a couch in the group. Olivia introduces me but I instantly forget all their names.
I turn back to Rachel and there's a glint in her eye. She leans in to me so we are close.
I smirk at her "did you miss me? You seem awfully glad to see me".
"As a matter of fact I did miss you. You made quite the impression last week" she grins.

I walk off the dance floor to get a second drink. I was limiting myself to three for the night because one, I didn't want to be hungover and two, I can't afford to drink a lot.
I look back at Rachel who I left with her friends dancing to some tropical house music which was very on brand for the night. I can't help but laugh to myself as I see her animatedly talking as she's dancing.
I order a vodka and coke and turn back to the crowd to watch while I wait for my drink.
That's when I see her.
