"Behave, both of you, okay? And no going anywhere without the-"
" Without the teacher , I know, Papa!"
"I can't be too sure with you devils," Mingyu said with a smile, ruffling their hair and leaving final kisses on their foreheads. "Have fun, you guys,"
"Bye!"
Acknowledging the teacher, Mingyu walked away, buckling himself in the car and driving back home. He just hoped the kids wouldn't give their teacher a hard time during the educational trip, knowing how wild they were. He assured himself that they wouldn't, but if anything at the bay aquarium happened to pique Micha's interest, he couldn't guarantee that she wouldn't give in to her impulse.
He reached fifteen minutes later, the automatic garage door sliding upwards as the car approached, letting him park with ease. The keys jingled as he put them back in their assigned drawer, and he quietly rang the bell from the garage. He heard a distant sound, convinced that it was Wonwoo, before he realised it was the sound of rain hammering against the garage door. Mingyu smiled to himself — he absolutely loved summer rains. They were just the small change he liked from the sunny skies.
When the door didn't open even minutes later, he fished out his phone, ringing Wonwoo up. "I just rang the doorbell, Won" he spoke into the device after Wonwoo picked up.
With a small sound of realisation, Wonwoo ended the call, and before Mingyu knew it, he was being let in by a drenched Wonwoo. "I didn't hear you in the backyard, sorry," he apologised with a sheepish smile.
"I can see that," Mingyu said, dropping a kiss to Wonwoo's lips, surprised by how cold they'd gotten.
"I'll get changed, hold on," And with that, Wonwoo rushed upstairs, while Mingyu followed at his own pace, knowing he'd find Wonwoo in the bedroom anyway.
As Wonwoo emerged from the bathroom, donned in a fresh set of clothes and wet locks plastering his forehead, a smile involuntarily broke through Mingyu's lips. When Wonwoo saw this, he couldn't help but ask, "why're you smiling?"
"Because you take my breath away,"
Wonwoo scoffed. " Gods , aren't you cheesy," But despite the light jab, his cheeks were slowly turning a shade of pink.
Mingyu felt a rush of affection at the sight, and wrapped his arms around Wonwoo, pressing his face in the damp hair. He felt endlessly grateful for the life he had in that moment, with the most amazing people he shared it with. Unstable, fragile days with the constant dislike for Umji were gone, and now, he had a wonderful boyfriend, and two little angels to love and protect.
Wonwoo nudged his chin, making him lean back as his lips tangled along with Wonwoo's, moving in a slow rhythm that was just perfect for the moment. Maybe Wonwoo was feeling adventurous, causing him to gently nip at Mingyu's lip, giving him the chance to slide his tongue with Mingyu's.
Mingyu gasped, thrilled by the sudden advance, moulding into the connection. With a sudden rush of boldness, he lifted Wonwoo up by hooking his arms under his thighs, the gesture being complied to in an instant as Wonwoo jumped, locking his legs around his hips. There was no mistaking the slowly building tension in the air between them, so thick, that their surroundings began fogging up, leaving them in a little world of their own.
Wonwoo's hands travelled up around his neck, elbows resting on Mingyu's shoulders as he pressed closer, deepening the connection, as though he couldn't get enough of it. Legs threatening to buckle like jelly at the overwhelming blend of sensations, Mingyu rolled onto the bed, not letting Wonwoo go yet. His hand slipped under Wonwoo shirt, fingers scraping against the soft, milky white skin, involuntarily travelling up to settle over his chest. Wonwoo whimpered at the touch, making Mingyu pull away, worried that he'd gone too far. "Baby... Do you need me to stop?"
