They sat silently on the bed, Taehyung holding Jungkook's hand, both gazing at each other. Taehyung's red, teary eyes stared into Jungkook's without blinking.

Neither of them spoke after their shared tears. They didn't know how to express the pain, having longed for each other's embrace. It was difficult for both of them to see the other cry, but it seemed like the only way to convey their feelings.

Jungkook: "Did you eat dinner?" he asked softly, breathing out a sigh.

Taehyung looked at him for a moment, then nodded with a faint smile.

Jungkook: "We can talk about things later. You should eat first, May I cook something?" he asked nervously.

Taehyung, amazed by the offer, nodded immediately with a smile.

Jungkook smiled and stood up, heading to the kitchen, while Taehyung went to freshen up before following him.

When Jungkook entered the kitchen, he noticed how well-maintained it looked. He knew Taehyung usually ordered food whenever he was alone, but then remembered that Jennie also lived with him. A small smile disappeared on his face as he focused on preparing kimchi for Taehyung. Freshened up, Taehyung came to the kitchen without a shirt, noticing Jungkook lost in thought.

Taehyung: "Oh, it smells good. You're making kimchi? It's been so long since I've eaten something you made," he said, sitting at the dining table near the kitchen.

Jungkook snapped out of his thoughts and glanced at Taehyung.

Jungkook: "Did you purposely forget your shirt, Kim?" he asked, giving him a pointed look.

Taehyung chuckled softly. "Did you forget that I always sleep without a top?" he teased with a smile.

Jungkook: "I haven't forgotten anything. I think someone else has forgotten things and moved on to someone else," he said bitterly, causing a tense silence between them.

Jungkook quietly finished cooking the kimchi, while Taehyung watched him without blinking. When it was ready, Jungkook served Taehyung and himself, sitting across from him as they started eating.

Taehyung: "Jungkook, I know you're mad about me dating Je-" he began, but Jungkook cut him off.

Jungkook: "Eat first, Taehyung. We'll talk about that later. I'll give you time to explain, but not now. Please," he said, continuing to eat.

Taehyung closed his mouth, letting out a quiet sigh as he started eating. Jungkook kept a watchful eye on him to make sure he was eating. Taehyung savored the food, realizing how much he had missed Jungkook's cooking. Even when they were busy, Jungkook always found time to cook at least one dish for him.

Taehyung: "Thank you, Kook. It's really tasty. Your cooking has improved so much," he complimented.

Jungkook smiled. It wasn't the first time Taehyung had praised his cooking, but he always loved hearing it. Jungkook, being someone who craved the attention of his loved ones, cherished moments like these.
