Swara's pov

'You were not in your senses, you didn't know what you were doing but I should have been sensible. I should have stopped you! I am scared you will hate me for not stopping you..'

'It wasn't wrong for me but I don't deserve it too, you were drunk that time, what if you find it wrong in your senses? I am scared you are going to hate me for not stopping you..'

'Can you promise me to never ask me what you did and whenever you would remember what happened you will never hate me, can you promise me this?'

"Swara are you okay?" I jerked out of my thoughts hearing it and turned to see Angre looking at me worriedly. I nodded to him and turned to the window staring outside as he drove us home.

"You know I am good at keeping secrets!" I turned back to Angre hearing him. He shrugged his shoulders as he drove, "Just saying.."

I stared at him silently for few seconds. "How do I find out if Sanskar loves me?" he smiled hearing me. "Ask him", he said still smiling and I looked at the road in front with tears.

"Some conversations can be difficult but they are necessary!" I hit the back of my head lightly to the seat hearing him and tears spilled out of my eyes.

"I am scared to know the answer", I barely whispered.

"The possibilities of answer will forever hurt you but knowing the answer will either give you forever happiness or temporary pain", I sobbed hearing it.

Angre didn't say anything after that, I sobbed for few minutes and wiped my tears as we reached home. We both walked inside quietly, Angre went inside his room and gave me a light smile before closing his door. I sighed and walked to Sanskar's room. I opened the door and he looked up from his laptop and gave me a smile, "How was your day?" he asked cheerfully.

I turned and closed the door as I said, "good!" I once again turned to him and went near him, "Are you busy?" I asked. "No tell me, how was your photoshoot?" he said closing his laptop and turning his attention to me ready to listen to me.

"Are you happy?" I asked and he scrunched his in eye-brows in confusion. "Yes? Kya hua? (What happened?)" he asked with an amused smile getting up from the bed.

"Then why did you tell me that night you don't deserve happiness?" I asked and saw his smile fade away. He walked away from me turning around. "You are already happy so now do you deserve it?" I asked.

"Swara I.." he started saying but I interrupted him, "You lied to me that night.." I choked with tears as I said, "You twisted your words and told me you don't deserve happiness so that I don't doubt you. You actually meant that you don't deserve love, didn't you?"

He turned to me with shock written all over his face. I couldn't control my tears realizing my guess was right. He gulped, this is the first time I am seeing fear in Sanskar's eyes. "You.. do you?" he started asking and stopped himself.

"I remember everything", I said and saw his shoulders slumping and his eyes closed.

"I also remember my promise", I said going near him and he opened his eyes that were filled with tears. "But just answer my questions. Why do you not want me to hate you?" I asked sternly.

"Swara, what question is this? How can I take your hatred?" he asked.

"Why you cannot take it? Give me a reason!" I asked trying hard to not break down. He tried to cup my face but I quickly stopped him, he looked visibly hurt. I wiped my tears as I asked again, "I want to know, tell me!"
