Somewhere on Dragonspine:

"C-c-c-cold! How are you g-g-guys not freezing!?"

Cold.
Ah, yes, the weather in dragonspine was indeed very cold and harsh. It was nothing new.
Beyond Paimon's clattering teeth the wind was icy and ruthless. It was close to an eery howl that blew through the lone paths of the mountain while everything and everyone within its reach was covered under a nice thick blanket of sparkling snow.
A very, very cold blanket.

"Aether! P-P-Paimon is going to evolve into an ice cube! Do something!"

Nonetheless, it was the beautiful scenery of this mountain, its mysterious atmosphere, the desire of the hidden secrets buried below the ice and inside the ruins that attracted so many curious adventurers to climb it.
So many unprepared explorers had fallen to their demise on this ground; frozen to death, fallen and drowned to their death, killed, and trampled to death.
The list was endless but so was the precaution to avoid this misery as well.
Gigantic posters, which were spread across the entrance to Dragonspine seemed almost funny and comical with their headlines; 'What to do in case of almost freezing to death and what most certainly not to do in case of getting flung into the lake by a wild boar!", but they did their duty.
The adventure guild had made sure of that, so that only a brainless idiot would step into a blizzard unprepared and with no heating equipment.

"And what exactly do you want me to do, Paimon? Huh? I can't stop a freaking blizzard with my hands. Do I look like a weather god to you?"

Snow fell around them as the wind blew harshly against their cold bodies. Shivering and wobbling like a slime having their first near-death experience.
But Aether's careless words were the fuel to Paimons sudden rise of heat.
It was at this exact moment, Paimon was now anything but bothered by the cold.

'SMACK'

Aether blinked slowly, very slowly as he faced the floating girl, his trembling hand wiping away the remains of the snowball he had received with his face, before he bent down.

"Oh, so that's how we play? You want a war, Paimon?", his voice was icy just like the temperature around them, his eyes narrowed to slits.
She thought she could get away with this? Oh, Aether didn't think so!

"Then a war is what you get!", he roared with clattering teeth and flung the snow he had hoarded in his arms at her small figure, before he was suddenly forced to duck down, "My stomach is literally exposed to the open! Do you think I am sunbathing out here!? Getting a tanline?!," he evaded another snowball, "Whose idea was it to accept this expedition in the first place, huh? Stupid emergency food!"

"For the last time! Paimon. Is. Not.", a giant snowball flew through the air, "EMERGENCY FOOD!"

Was idiocy contagious?
In the last two hours, where Rosaria, a very famous nun of the cathedral, had the great pleasure of travelling up the snowy paths of Dragonspine with the well-known trio for their little search to find another very famous alchemist, she concluded this much; they were indeed a whole bunch of idiots.
Because who in their right mind would start a snowball fight in the middle of a blizzard while complaining about the cold?
Yeah, surely not her. Rosaria, the as always very wise and smart nun had come prepared. Otherwise, she would already have frozen to death. But those two?
