(This is just something I got an imagine in my head so I write it down. But it's a far jump from the former page. This is for when they are united with the rest of Ethan's family.)

Ethan walk slowly up behind two women, who are discussing something. Mary has her back toward him and is talking with her mother in front of her. She leans down to write something on the counter between them. Then Ethan sees his grandmother, who then looks at him. He smiles at her, with tears in his eyes.

Gammy's eyes widen in shock, her hand slowly goes to her mouth, palming it while tears form. She looks between Ethan and her daughter in front of her. Mary is still just talking and writing, completely oblivious.

Ethan takes another step closer. "Ma." He says, his voice low to not let it crack.

Mary freezes, recognising the voice immediately. She can easily hear the difference in her children's voices. She frowns, at least she used to. Now she's confused, because it sounded like Ethan. She then looks up and sees her mother with her hand over her mouth with tears in her eyes, looking at someone behind her.

Her face expression slack and her heart beats faster. She turns around and comes face to face with her firstborn. Her eyes widen and her mouth opens with her lip trembling. She reaches up to palm her mouth as he takes a tender step closer. He's frowning, his eyes wet too.

When she reaches for him and touch his arm, confirming his presence, she sobs and almost falls. Ethan catches her in a tight embrace and ease down to their knees as she clutches to him.

"Oh, my baby boy." She cries into him.

Ethan is a grown man, but doesn't mind one bit that his mother calls him that. He'll always be her son and he knows it. The two have always been close. He loves and respects her so much. His mother carried him for 9 months and went through an excruciating birth for him. She then, along with his father, raised him to become the man he is today. He couldn't be more grateful for his parents and everything they've done and sacrificed for him and his siblings.

They were young and poor when they got pregnant with him, they could've given him up. Mary had to sacrifice a great opportunity when she chose to keep him. He might've followed in his father's footsteps, but he was always a Mommy's boy, just like his own son is. Watching you with Parker over the years, has really poked him on the longing of knowing if his mother was alive and seeing her. Before the outbreak, he hadn't seen her in a while, because he had been so busy, hence why he was at the airport, supposed to fly to yet another place for work. He had promised to spend some time with him when he got back. After the outbreak, he couldn't help but regret all the times he had chosen to get some late night work done instead of taking that dinner with his parents and all the times he came late to the family gatherings.

The mother and son talk some more in their reunion as he also greets his grandmother. Then Mary says they have to go tell the others. She grabs his hand wanting to find his sisters, but he doesn't move.

"There's some I want you to meet first."

...

Mary is holding on to Ethan's elbow tightly, as if he would disappear if she let go of him. They're walking past a bunch of vehicles and then reach the edge where your group has parked your cars. Mia sees and run to him.

"Dad!" She grins excitedly. "You should've seen it!"

She only glances at Mary as she talks enthusiastically to her dad. She doesn't understand who she is yet, and is too excited about the topic to notice how Mary is holding his arm. Mary is staring at the child with wide eyes in wonder.

Ethan chuckles. "Mia, this is my Mom."

Mia then freeze and look at Mary with wide eyes and her mouth in an 'o'.

"Mom.." Ethan bends down and takes his daughter's hand in his. "This is my daughter."

"Hello, sweetheart." Mary bends down to her level too.

"Mia?" You walk out from behind the jeep, with Parker on your hip. "What have we told you about leaving me like that in new places?"

Then you freeze when you see her with Ethan and a woman. When Mary looks at you, she immediately recognises you with your son and her mouth falls open.

Ethan stands up while still holding Mia's hand. But on the way, Mia tugs his hand so he lifts her up with him. He looks at you and Parker with admiration. Parker looks at the woman but hides his face in his teddy bear while hugging you.

"Mom, this is my wife, Yn." He says and you smile at Mary. "And our son, Parker." He then steps up beside you. "My family."

Mary looks at Parker with a soft and friendly smile. He's peeking at her from behind his teddy.

"Do you remember me?" She asks him, then reaches for her pocket.

Mary always has a small journal on her. Pulling it out of her pocket, she opens a page and carefully pick out the dried flower he gave her months ago. She never forgot the two of you. A flash of recognition appears in his expression and you can feel him relax in your hold.
